No offial rules for anything above +4 (probably a balance issue, mighty longbows are pretty powerful as they are). No rules for fumling/breakage either (AFAIK). IMC I allow it, but these bow are unique items, created by master bowyers (sp?). Think of Odysseu's bow from the the greek hero...

Correct. The bonus type is what matters, not the item that delivers the bonus. .Ziggy

My 9th level wizard has used it a few times (using Dispel Magic), but not every session. Without the FR feats counterspelling is probably a bit too difficult, but with reactive counterspelling it is very useful. .Ziggy

Once again an excellent fight scene from Lazybones :D We had a very similar scene in our "city-rogues" campaign, down in the dwarven ruins below Raven's Bluff. Only those undead included an Allip, which reduced my Rouge/Cleric's Wiz down to 3. Not much spellcasting left after that :) .Ziggy

I usually play with 5 or 6. We used to play with max 4 players, but D&D has drawn new players into the fold, among them two wives that didn't play before :) But the number of GM's are limited, and playing groups have grown as a result of that. .Ziggy

From the SRD (my emphasis): Mage Armor (my emphasis): Shield (my emphasis): The important thing here is the type of the bonus, not the type of the spell. Mage armor gives an armor bonus, while shiled provides cover (bonus). Different bonuses stack. .Ziggy
