It's wild to me that a rogue could be considered overpowered. Frankly, I don't believe it. I am planning for an upcoming campaign that will have a thief rogue and I will be showering them with magic items just to see what happens.

I agree that elements of the set are childish. Which is great for when I run it for my kids. When I run it for my regular group, it won't be hard to age it up.

Well, okay. I've DM'd 5.14 campaigns from 1-12, 1-20, and 1-12 (again). Have not played any 5.24 yet but have plans to do that in 2026. But I think it's a very hot take that Wizard is unplayable without multiclassing.
