    There is a magic item in a Forgotten Realms supplement that blocks teleporting (and I think some other things) for a HUGE radius. Like a mile or more. I can’t recall the name nor the supplement name but it was a round floating disk-like object… Anyone remember what this was?

    Running into an invisible wall?

    I am about to DM another AoW adventure tonight and . It does 1d6/10’ of you movement rating. So if you have a speed of 30 you take 3d6 (or that is how I understood it and it made no allowance for running or charging). As a wall of force is not specifically designed to deal damage in this way...

    The DMG2 ones is a full chapter on the city. The Cityscape stuff is just maps with some basic info on them and then lots of rules about cities (which is useful but not what i am looking for).

    Immediate Actions *can't* be used when flat-footed?

    In our game we handle it exactly as Irdeggman described, and have for years now. We work very hard to handle all character movement on their turn, some things you can’t obviously but for the vast majority of the time it works out well to just wait till their turn to have them fall.

    There was a sage article about it recently. The answer was your nutz for even bothering with it but if you wanted to then it would do around 1d3 points of damage.

    You should really check out Heroes of Horror and Libris Mortis my next compain is going to focus on the extra rules in those books, might give you some ideas.
