    Dread Necromancer VS. Cleric

Heroes of Horror also has the Archivist. HoH is a good one to pick up.

Which campaign setting is the best?

Dark Sun was fun as a change of pace for us. You don't list it, but I really enjoyed Lankhmar both as a DM and player: Lankhmar ? City of Adventure - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Cleric / Wizard

Whether Precocious Apprentice is a valid way to enter a theurge prc or not has been debated ad nauseum on just about every D&D message board in existence. I used to take the position that it didn't quality the pc for early entry, but I've seen (and played) enough theurge types that I don't see...

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Agreed, great movie. I personally don't need a sequel for this. Planet of the Apes with Heston is the sequal for me. That said, if they do a re-image of Planet of the Apes, I'll go to the movie theater to see it. This prequel was just that good.

Pathfinder 1E Paizo Announces More Details about Minis Line

When I was in the business 5 years ago, I paid 53% of the retail price for the item from my distributors. So if the retail price (suggested manufacturer's price they put on the box or book) was $100, I paid $53. This applied to dice, game books and minis from WotC and Reaper and the like. I...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

It's 25% to 40% depending on the benefits. A $100,000 a year salary will end up being a total cost to the employer of $125,000 to $140,000. This is in the US. Not sure about the rest of the planet.

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

Agreed that IT probably doesn't match yours. The general rule of thumb is 1.25 to 1.4 times base salary.

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

I agree with you. To add: if 4.0 had been 3.75 instead (tweeked 3.5 ala Pathfinder) I would have stayed a serious WotC customer. Now, all I ever buy of theirs is the occasional dungeon tiles (at big box book stores) or minis on the secondary market. Also, if WotC had a 3.5 ddi section (in...

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder outselling D&D

Good point, but I want to add that 'profit' doesn't occur until after the rent is paid, employee salaries are paid, electric bill paid, water bill paid, etc.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder figures to replace DDM figures!!!!

Agreed, thanks. 40mm clix bases would be cool for the large figures too.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder figures to replace DDM figures!!!!

It is problematic. A normal Clix base fits on a 1.5" grid. They'd only have to do the design for a 1" clix base once, so maybe it wouldn't be too expensive. Personally, I prefer plain bases that I can paint, add grass, sand etc. Thanks, Rich

    Illusionist Prestige Class?

The Geocities stuff is gone with the wind unless the guy who uploaded it has it somewhere else. Take a look at the Master Specialist PrC in Complete Mage. Also look here: http://www.enworld.org/forum/d-d-legacy-discussion/86539-links-classes-races-forum.html

How many character classes do you need, anyway?

We've used the generic classes from UA in a couple of campaigns. Certainly brings CoDzilla (or whatever the correct shorthand is) down to earth.

Help with class ability giving Time Stop to Fighters at 1st level

It may be heresy, but John Wayne or Chuck Heston could take Chuck Norris.
