What RPG do you most regret parting with?

"The kid probably just wanted to 'steal' the book and that was that." There, fixed that for you.

    Psionics outside of DnD/Pathfinder

I know you said, "outside of the DnD world", but you might want to take a look at Green Ronin's The Psychic's Handbook. It's 3.5. The psychic character doesn't advance like a psion does (like a spellcaster does), but instead the character uses psychic skills to manifest the psychic effect...

What have you done for your DM/GM at the end of a campaign?

After a campaign ending TPK we'd take the DM out back and give him his presents.

OSR How do you run your combat? (B/X, BECMI, OSR)

After suprise, we used individual initiative modified by dex. Then add spell casting time or weapon speed to get order of what was going on or you could move.

TTRPGs with simultaneous instead of turn-based combat

Not a TTRPG, but Starfleet Battles uses simultaneous movement. I could see using that and weaving in actions as part of the movement chart.

It's Not Easy to Find a Gaming Group

Reproduce. Admittedly, you are playing the long game, but it works. My 3 sons are all grown up now and we play 2 different campaigns every other Sunday. My eldest and youngest were gamers as soon as I taught them how to roll dice. The middle one wasn't a fan, but his girlfriend wanted to...

    D&D 3.x New body slot( dentures )

In 1e we managed to kill a unicorn. We took its horn and had individual replacement teeth made that would protect our characters against poison.

    Dragon Reflections #68

I played on fighter who fought with a longsword and dagger in 1E. I don't recall if we house-ruled any of it.

    Titan Dwarves and Player Skills?

I don't know what source book this comes from, but it looks like it uses the 3.5 rules. In 3.5 you have to pay for those skill ranks. At the top of the second page you have an entry, "Skill Points at 1st Level". Without any intelligence modifier (say the pc has a 10 Int), the character gets...

    D20 Polyhedron Minigame Fan Expansions

I tried the wayback machine and it doesn't look like they have an archive of the group. I found this thread: https://forum.rpg.net/index.php?threads/polyhedron-d20-mini-game-list.74797/page-3 A guy named Amberjack73 there said he was the mod of that group above. Maybe he has the stuff if you...

    Dragon Reflections #66

In the first campaign I played in (was a mixture of OD&D and 1E) in 1979, one house rule was that when fighters got to 5th level their damage dice with longswords increased to 3D6 from D8.

OSR Dr. J. Eric Holmes dungeon being printed by Pacesetter Games.

There's a theory that HH Holmes traveled to the UK and committed the Jack the Ripper murders. From what I remember, his whereabouts are unknown when the Ripper was murdering people in London.

OSR Dr. J. Eric Holmes dungeon being printed by Pacesetter Games.

In our party, it was always a race to see which caster (MU, Druid or Cleric) would bring the fallen fighter or thief back to life. The druid's Reincarnate brought the PC back as a woodland critter maybe a human or elf if you were lucky. The MU Reincarnation was the best I think as it had all...
