Which rules are you mulling over? ASoIaF GoT edition is the one I've been more impressed with, but the GoO d20 version isn't too bad either, though it lacks rules for mass combat and house rulership.

I'll second that! I'm playing in my friend's Birthright 5e game right now, and every time we play I keep thinking "man, this would play so much better using the ASoIaF rules."

Curious to know why you think being large is OP? And before you mention the double damage over-sized weapons mentioned in the DMG, I would take into account that centaurs have a human-sized torso and arms, and hence shouldn't be able to wield such weapons.

I wonder if this will have anything to do with any of the 5e books supposedly in the works? Maybe there will be some seafaring minotaurs in the two books we know about?

The ASOIAF RPG is more than enough to handle a Westeros game. It's pretty good.
