The TOC for this month has a definite lack of warlock. And Bart Carroll's post wasn't up when I wrote my post. By now they've added a playtest for hybrids and multiclassing in the TOC. Color me surprised.

I don't see anything about the warlock, but I see this: A playtest? That's interesting. Will the CC: Cleric article become a playtest now, retroactively? :angel: ;)

German AD&D 2e and D&D 4e use the metric system (IIRC 3e does too, but I can't confirm). One square = 1.5 meters.

Mobility issues with scale armor aside, I don't think it's really necessary for a class that relies heavily on Dex. Unless you'd like to have a monk variant that uses Str and Wis, that is. How about dazing the enemy? It certainly fits the genre.

Now I'm not familiar with the power in your example, but I've played an ardent (and had a blast) and I have to disagree that the class has minimal flavor. Ardents manipulate emotions (consciously or unconsciously, controlled or not) to achieve their effects, and the flavor text in Psionic Power...

Sure, the Feywild has strong connections to the Arcane power source, so I'm expecting support for virtually all arcane classes. (Sorry, Aegeri.*) There's also the possibilty that the bladesinger has been moved to Heroes of the Feywild, but we won't know until we hear something from the horse's...

It doesn't affect fighters and warlords much. The cleric has largely lost his secondary role and gained nothing in return, which has been discussed to death on several boards. Some posters like it, many don't. YMMV.

Re: Mounted Combat, I just came across its Compendium entry and noticed it had been changed last month. It's definitely not obsolete.

It hasn't been released yet. It will come out in the monthly Class Compendium series of articles (which are free, btw), but I'm not sure when exactly.

Which is strange because without Mounted Combat your mount used to have -2 to attack rolls. As per the RC, your mount has the -2 to attacks, period. At the very least, Mounted Combat should let your mount attack without that penalty. The glossary entry for mounts doesn't explicitly state that a...

It looks like you rolled low on your Insight check, or your Goggles of Sarcasm Detection are broken. ;)

Yeah, I hadn't heard anything about the Bladesinger for a while, so I took that mention to be a confirmation that it hasn't been scrapped. I can totally see the Giant-Slayer as a Barbarian subclass. Or yet another Ranger, only with a really big axe this time. ;)

Did anyone else catch this little tidbit? More classes coming our way, perhaps? :)
