    Godzilla minus Zero teaser

I would say the film focuses on the consequences of the war, not the reasons for it. And I would suggest that Japan is not the only nation the has problematic imperialistic ideologies, and were should be very careful about blaming one without examining ourselves. Just why were Singapore and Hong...

D&D General Does anyone else starting to feel like FR: HoF & FR: AiF were starved of resources because of the Core Books

There have always been a small cohort of customers who like to obsess over setting lore, and at one time they were targeted specifically by churning out low quality products that were required to keep up with the lore. But they haven’t been the target market for WotC for a long time, as they...

    Predator: Badlands | Official Trailer

That describes most of them. I can’t think of any which are structured as a horror movie, just have horrific gore sometimes. The entire franchise is more Aliens than Alien.

Spoilers Hey look, there's a new Robin Hood show coming with Sean Bean as the Sheriff!

The Sheriff in Nottingham usually does, but possibly not in season one. As Thomas Cromwell, he only escaped beheading by the show being cancelled before getting to that point.

Spoilers Hey look, there's a new Robin Hood show coming with Sean Bean as the Sheriff!

Whilst D&D was probably an influence on Robin of Sherwood, Unearthed Arcana was published in the same year, 1985, and was therefore too late. NB Morgan Freeman may not be white, but he was still the wrong ethnicity for a Saracen.

Forgotten Realms: Adventures in Faerun - First Impressions

Peaceful interactions that also present a challenge, rather than just an am dram opportunity, are not easy to design. Then there are puzzles of varying types.

Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerun - First Impressions

Whatever, they weren’t well received, and I doubt they sold well. And poor sales means it’s unlikely they will be revisited any time soon. Not throwing good money after bad as they say. I suspect the boxed set format for settings might be dead too. I’m pretty sure Eberron was the most...

    Predator: Badlands | Official Trailer

Yeah, not really a horror franchise. Dark sci fi Action franchise perhaps would describe it.

D&D 5E (2024) Odyssey of the Dragonlords Remastered Edition Kickstarter is LIVE

BBC Pre-school series from the 1970s. First episode features illustrations of bare-breasted mermaids, no strategically positioned hair or sea-shell bikinis. But the point I'm really making is that the people who will see nude illustrations as a bonus are prurient adolescents. Actual adult...

Dhampir and Other Species To Be Included in Astarion's Book of Hungers

I’m convinced WotC doesn’t base their releases on a desire for symmetry.

Dhampir and Other Species To Be Included in Astarion's Book of Hungers

But the whole point of dhampir is they aren't undead. If they have to chose, lore says humanoid. The Reborn? They are undead.

D&D 5E (2024) Odyssey of the Dragonlords Remastered Edition Kickstarter is LIVE

That wouldn't make the parents right. Children are exposed to much worse things than nudity. I'm not a fan of the new puritanism. Oh, by the way, watch episode one of Bagpuss.

D&D General Does anyone else starting to feel like FR: HoF & FR: AiF were starved of resources because of the Core Books

WotC don't pay its staff enough for them to read through the vast pile of largely terrible novels.

Dhampir and Other Species To Be Included in Astarion's Book of Hungers

There is a lot more progress being made on that in Europe. But there is still a long way to go and needs more people to get behind it. Some people seem to massively overvalue PDFs. It's already obsolescent and in a few years most people people won't be able to read it. All formats suffer from...

Dhampir and Other Species To Be Included in Astarion's Book of Hungers

Never said it was. And your efforts would be better spent joining those campaigning for better consumer protection when services end than trying to reverse the clock. There are a great many people for which print (or this PDF is forever nonsense) is not a valid option, who would still like to...

Dhampir and Other Species To Be Included in Astarion's Book of Hungers

Sure. I bought the 1st edition rule books in paper form, but I don't have them now and I have no idea what happened to them. But it's not a big deal, I don't need them and at least they are not taking up space I don't have. As for PDFs, I'm pretty sure that within a decade they will only be...

D&D 5E (2024) Odyssey of the Dragonlords Remastered Edition Kickstarter is LIVE

Yeah, turning to stone is overrated as a power. In three rounds its easier to turn something to dead. The most useful thing I can think of to do with it is use it on fellow PCs as a form of suspended animation to survive lack of food/air travel into the future, etc.

    Trailer Scream 7

I think that stretches credibility a bit far. Vest would make sense, but face protection needs to be angled to dissipate the kinetic energy of the attack, or you neck will break anyway. I think animatronic duplicate ghostfaces seems more likely, given we see one acting robotically in the...
