I too like them all. Although I can't help notice synthwave is the soundtrack for a lot of your Hells. This is fair. I like Demons of Synth City. Just seems like it's got more scope for play. Hell at the Disco could be one episode of this. Arcade Hell might make a good one-shot game.

As this thread goes on I have found myself really warming to Derek.

A lot of the Egyptian gods just plain got old. IIRC, Ra is bordering on senile in one myth. So did some of the Japanese gods, Izanagi and Izanami famously.

Last vampires I played were land developers. They were NPCs. They got very staked.

From my home game the orc barbarian, Myrtle, learned to read from geography texts. He pronounces it Fla-anus.

When I write up adventures for a supers game, I use Comic Sans. And I used Papyrus for in-game handouts when I was running my Not-Ancient-Egypt game. And for some reason I think Trajan works well for in-game hand outs that need to look official.

Pineapple on ham - no problem. Pineapple and ham on pizza - just awful. I've never claimed I'm consistent.

Very true. I love doing up a setting and getting into obscure lore. I really enjoy it. But I understand that I do it for me. I don't expect my players to need or even want to know half of the crap I spend my time dreaming up. Because it just isn't relevant to their play experience. I have...

Some do, some don't. It's very taste dependent. re. homebrew, I've found that getting player input into the setting from the outset has really increased player buy-in to the setting.

The character the MCU changed my perception of is Antman. Never gave a rat's a*** about him in the comics. Either version. But one of my favourite characters in the MCU.
