    Dune: Prophecy

We were talking about Dune in other threads, and then I found I'm late to the ballgame in knowing about this coming out. Looks interesting. The ad makes it look pretty darn good to tell the truth. Ads can be deceiving, of course, but this looks pretty cool. Supposedly based after...

    D&D 5E (2024) DMG 5.5 - the return of bespoke magical items?

But, they had the same characters in some parts... However, even if we just go with the Fellowship, that's 17 years, and as one has pointed out above, you also have a two month stop over as well. That's at least 50 days right there. No, no character will make weapons during an adventure...

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Cartoon Character Stats & Magic Items

Highest bonus is actually +4 (Legendary) as per the DMG 2014. And, I'd think the way Venger was after the items...they'd be at least artifact level. He was taking on Tiamat on his lonesome! His daily expendables are probably more valuable than the weapons the have the heroes using! You are...

Trailer Marvel Studios | Look Ahead | Disney+

The only things that really looked interesting to me in that commercial was Ironheart and Wonderman. Other stuff may seem interesting in the future, but just from that ad, it's just those two.

    Spoilers Severance (Apple TV)

One problem with this is that, yeah, you may not have to deal with the drudgery of some jobs, but your life would seem so much shorter. Imagine, you work 8 hours a day (does it include your commute?) and then you commute and hour. You stay awake for 4 hours and then get ready for bed and sleep...

    (+) A.I in general

What I want is a personal AI that can do the things I want it to. I want an AI that I can feed into it my own writing, and then use it to write a book from with the right extensive prompts (If I do that, is that a book written by me or not? As the only sources would be my own writing?). I...

    D&D 5E (2024) DMG 5.5 - the return of bespoke magical items?

YES!!! Between the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings Gandalf literally can spend decades making whatever he wants, if he was under the D&D rules. Between when the little girl is born and they start their adventure, living in the village. They do a few heists, but overall...YES! They have a...

Ravenloft: Heir of Strahd Cover, Synopsis Revealed

I don't know. The only reading books my grandkids seem to get for fun are the ones I buy them. Half read ebooks, the other half refuse to read ebooks. The only ones they buy are the ones in college who buy textbooks they are required to buy. PS: The ones who read ebooks didn't really read...

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Cartoon Character Stats & Magic Items

With those weapons, one has to wonder why Venger even thought it worth his time, much less effort to try to get them. It would seem that he would spend more time trying to get an artifact or two rather than some weapons fit for lower level characters.

    D&D General Top 5 Best Non-WotC adventures?

It's a set of three adventures that Paizo put out that are a mini-adventure path of sorts (sort of like the Crown of the Kobold King was originally, before they made it a hardcover). It starts with Crypt of the Everflame (where you have an origin and a startling turn of events). It then is...

Living Romans in the Americas Plausible*?

I have no problem with it. I mean, if you look at the New Testament and that this "Carpenter" actually was killed and died, and then resurrected after 3 days in the grave....and then ascended up to heaven and was actually THE GOD, the one and only, almighty, Omniscient being... Are we really...

I AM KING OF THE WORLD! Ranking James Cameron's Films

So, going back a few pages... I'm actually a pretty big Dungeon Seige fan. It's a great series of games. Each is basically a very different game than the one that came before it. The First one has the Best music. The music is just...well...awesome. However, I'd put it as the weakest of...

    D&D General Top 5 Best Non-WotC adventures?

Paths of Immortality doesn't get enough mention, though outside the PF1e circles I'm not sure how many are even aware of it. Early Paizo after their WotC split had some of it's most awesome material. Unafraid to try and do new things, and absolutely hitting homeruns while doing it.

AD&D 1E Whatever happened to the 1E Iconics?

Only reason it ever seemed uphill on the way back was because we were all drunk on the walk back. It wasn't just uphill, the world itself decided to make it tougher by spinning and teeter tottering. That's just how it was back in the old days when we could have beer for lunch and 1/4 of our...

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D 2024 Player's Handbook Reviews

I don't know if a majority use feats. I KNOW a minority uses them (obviously, many people on these forums). I know they add complexity (and that along with weapons and other items make the new rendition of D&D more complex), and more complexity adds a layer of headache for many DMs. I'd...

    Eric Noah's 3rd Edition Website

I believe I had a registered account. It's an account that I lost (along with my Dragonsfoot one) from back then as I got super busy for a while and much internet accounts and other things were lost during that period of time. Most of the others are from my return, of which I've been able to...

Pathfinder: The Dragon's Demand Reveals New Trailer, Kickstarter Launching Soon

Well, as I became an official supporter when they updated to include a GoG release, I hope they get the game finished, and after that hope that they actually DO release it for us GoG players.

    D&D 5E (2024) Best AP for 2024 Game? Can Include Paizo/Older Editions.

I own it in hardcopy. I haven't read it yet. Looked at some of the overviews of it and am excited about it. Too much gaming stuff and too little time. My next APs I'm running will be Abomination Vaults 5e, and then maybe Waterdeep Dragon Heist.

Hasbro Hit With Layoffs, Wizards of the Coast Impacted

Which would you rather have though, layoffs before Christmas so hopefully you know that you are going to have less money, or layoffs right after Christmas after you've spent all that holiday money?
