Quite a few people are liking what they see. But I haven't gotten much feedback about what people do or don't like. Does anyone have any questions about the game or the setting?

Conquest of the Universe on Kickstarter Two weeks left on the Kickstarter. What do you guys think of the art previews? Does the setting give an appealing impression? What about the details you've seen about the system?

They're of good quality. Are they worth it? Well, honestly, I still ended up using my Chessex vinyl mat more often. It's your call.

Obviously not very many. I don't see an inconsistency, unless the Knight Phantoms don't have the potential to be important.

Where does it say in the rules that a cleric has the magical power to stop people from dying?

WTH? My designs on Conquest of the Universe keep getting smaller and tidier, and then I read this: It's like he's peeking at my notes.

A court might find that licensing digital versions of those cards to users, or the OP site in general, is a commercial use that should be protected.

I want this so bad, but I have a hard time justifying the price just for the bragging rights. Many of my favorites are already in the Pathfinder bestiaries and I can do conversions myself.

I'm not taking a side, but I think it's apparent that he was, in fact, distributing images of Paizo's cards, for the purposes for which the cards were intended, "tiny" or not. It is clearly infringing. Is this Fair Use? Good question.

I'm fine with that. I don't actually have a problem with Claws costing the same as Cosmic Power, or whatever. Or characters being in very different power levels in terms of their capabilities. The problem I see is that there is a dividing line between "balance really isn't a concern" and...

I would expect them to be "joiners." They form cliques, try to alter social environment to be more hiearchical, and philosophically, attack perceied inconsistencies in others. Like, Palpatine is NE, because his be-all, end-all is dominating others and proving his superiority. Vader is CE...

"Hit points" makes sense if you realize that in older games, damage was 1 point. So 3 "hit points" meant you had to get hit three times.

You can actually see another strand of this family of combat mechanics in Rolemaster. Arms Law was originally a sourcebook for D&D, basically. Arms Law was a bunch of tables, one for each weapon, with a column for each armor type.

My brother and his friends used to call this "Farmer Brown." They would all player commoners, who at some point, would inevitibly get pushed too far and turn into murderous psychopaths.

"Leather" "ring" "mail" "plate" You know, ... classes of armor. In the original rules you could get +/-1 for Dex and a few other modifiers, but basically, the to-hit difficulty was the type of armor you wore. This was then abstracted to a number in order to simplify monster write-ups.
