    Spoilers Agatha All Along discussion

Like I say, I'm not 100% sure, maybe it was mind playing tricks on me? I'll be watching the episode again at some point, so I'll be paying extra attention when I do. :)

    Spoilers Agatha All Along discussion

I may have imagined it, but I thought that the 'scenes from previous episode' recap at the start showed things that hadn't happened yet. Which, if true, would be in keeping with the episode, but also incredibly meta/clever.

It’s rare to say this about a Marvel product, but that was a beautiful episode.

    Spoilers Agatha All Along discussion

Ahhh... now I get you. Sorry about that, it's been a long week at work. I'll be checking it again when I rewatch the episode over the weekend. I'm hoping we still get Patti LuPone's trial at some point. I think her story is still holding a few pieces of the puzzle.

    Spoilers Agatha All Along discussion

I get that, but I'm still not sure why she placed the Sigil in the first place? Maybe she saw something in the future that we weren't shown?

    Spoilers Agatha All Along discussion

I'm not sure Toby (I mean Tommy) would have found his spirit in another body, Billy is a Witch, but to my understanding Tommy is just a speedy guy and doesn't really have access to that kind of magic. Also, it's interesting that Lilia put the Sigil on Billy (before the crash, and before he was...

Oh, I loved the little detail that Agatha was Jolene. :ROFLMAO:

    Spoilers Agatha All Along discussion

I thought they might depict things more from Agatha's perspective in a way that shows a lot of her reputation is built on misinformation or bias. I feel there was an element of that last week in Agatha's trial where we find out her mother had always told her that she's been evil since she was...

    Spoilers Agatha All Along discussion

I'm enjoying the relationship between Agatha and Billy. I think like Wanda, deep down Billy is a kind person, so we'll see if Agatha corrupts him in the last few episodes.

Dungeons & Dragons Has Done Away With the Adventuring Day

My group does all it's adventuring at night, that way we avoid all those encounters per adventuring day. ;) That was a joke, I'm holding off forming an opinion on any changes in the new DMG until I get a chance to read them for myself.

D&D 5E (2014) What is the "Simple" Full Casting Class?

I did think it was odd that the new PHB has Wizard as Average complexity, But Warlock and Sorcerer were both considered High. I thought it would be the other way around personally.

Dungeons & Dragons May Not Come Back to Greyhawk After 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide

I can't seem to see what you're referring to? They say that they don't have plans to make more Greyhawk content in the future (unless there's a huge call for it from the community), what does that have to do with past products, such as Vecna: Eve of Ruin?

Five Big Takeaways from the 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide

It can, but again, it doesn't have to. We're also close to getting into the definition of 'Setting' Would you call a single city a setting?

Five Big Takeaways from the 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide

Me too, worldbuilding is a big part of the appeal for me. But I still think you can just play adventure after adventure without a setting. This was certainly my experience back in the late 80's early 90's.

Payn's Ponderings; System mastery and the concept of fair fight.

So, you liked Lost Mines more than Stormwreck Isle? When we played through them, my DM had mixed the two together, so I couldn't tell you what was from what. Is there any other starter set for 5E? I guess there were the ones for Stranger Things and Rick and Morty, but I never really counted them.

Five Big Takeaways from the 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide

I wasn't talking about preferences. My response was to the idea that without a campaign world, there can't be a game. Which is IMO kinda nonsense.

Five Big Takeaways from the 2024 Dungeon Master's Guide

exactly, you can also just play an adventure module, dungeon crawl, etc... plenty of ways to play without the need for a setting

Payn's Ponderings; System mastery and the concept of fair fight.

I'm pretty sure the 5E starter set 'Lost Mines...' has an encounter with a Young Green Dragon that players can run into around level 2 or 3.
