    Numenera Character Options

5 out of 5 rating for Numenera Character Options This book is a must have for Numenera. I'm use to options book that contain only 2-3 really playable thing. This is not the case with this book. Almost everything is awesome on it's own. :)

Third Party Character Creation iOS App Removed

That made me laugh so much! Thanks. :) For me, the reaction of Wizards is part of the reality of the modern world. I don't agree with their decision, but I certainly understand it and don't feel entitled for anything.

Third Party Character Creation iOS App Removed

The problem is with american trademark law. If you don't defend your trademark, you risk loosing it. It's called failure to police. For WOTC, the risk is simply not worth it compared to sending a simple cease & desist.

    Secrets of Sokol Keep

3 out of 5 rating for Secrets of Sokol Keep I played this during GenCon, hoping for this to be my introduction to Dungeons & Dragons 5E. The group was fun, but the adventure was average. I'm not sure if it's the format of organized play or the adventure, but my character didn't have any...

Best dungeon crawl adventure of all time

How could I forget Banewarrens by Monte Cook! I'll take a look at the suggestions above, especially Expedition to the Barrier Peaks. I started collected old out-of-print adventure (such as White Plume Mountain and Keep on the Borderlands) and I'll add it to my buy list. :)

    Best Dungeon Magazine Adventure(s)?

I'm a big fan of the Mud Sorcerer's Tomb. I played it in the early 1990s with my friends and we had a blast! Of all the adventures mentionned here, I will have a look on the following: Mad God's Key (114) Dungeon of the Fire Opal (84) Out of ashes (17)

Best dungeon crawl adventure of all time

I adapted the Mud Sorcerer's Tomb to fit in Numenera. Surprisingly, it was somewhat easy and quite enjoyable! Can't wait for my players to get their hands on the Uzrivoy. My interested in this thread is two-fold: 1. I'm curious to know which dungeon crawls are perceived as the best. 2. Finding...

Best dungeon crawl adventure of all time

Hello everyone, After my last campaign, my players asked me to prepare a dungeon crawl heavy new campaign. I'm curious as to know which dungeon crawls are considered to be the best of all time. Surprisingly, I didn't find any lists out there.

Is this the world's best D&D gaming room?

It's obviously a great room.... but I too ask myself why so many duplicate boxed sets!

    Shadowrun newbie (sort of) question

I have no experience with 5th edition, but I've heard it's similar to 4th edition, which I own and played. For me, the hardest part is the setting, not the rules. The matrix and magic is hard to figure out and use consistently in game. The hacking rules is probably the hardest part for me...

5E conversions for player races from Monte Cooke's Arcana Evolved/Unearthed

I will eventually revisit Arcana Evolved, since I loved the setting and I'm tired of Tolkien fantasy. I would have seen Quickling and Loresong as sub-races of Faen. Is there a reason for not doing this? PS: Sorry about the thread necromancy.

    WizKids Elemental Evil miniatures boosters

The quality of the Tyranny of Dragons minis goes from horrible to okay. I'm probably gonna skip, even though I have a huge DDM collection.

    D&D 5E (2014) Which Urban Setting for D&D 5e?

I'm torn between Sigil and Ptolus. From what was said here, Freeport seems like the best choice for what you intend. Do you mind the Cthulhu-mythos vibe?

    The Strange Recursion Design Competition

DarthPanic: I felt the same way with Numenera, that it was lacking something. Fortunately, the character options book filled my emptyness. Let's hope that future books down the line will help you with yours.
