Thank you for introducing me to 1/72 scale miniatures. I've been looking for various affordable stuff to dress my games (such as houses, well, towers, fortifications, tents, etc).
As soon as I get on my main PC, I'll add your blog to my RSS feed. :)
I think Numenera tapped into a niche that wasn't exploited yet, or at least wasn't as popular as it is now. It's very original.
I find the concept of the Strange hard to describe to potential players. I'm not sure if my difficulty of describing the setting is because of me or because of the...
4 out of 5 rating for Kingmaker Adventure Path
My group and I were able to play the first 4 modules of Kingmaker. We had a great time. The sandbox worked well with my group. My only complaint is the magic item economy and the whole kingdom rules. If I had other rules for kingdom management, I...
Hello everyone,
I'm doing some upgrading to the gaming basement and I would like to have a poster of an old image that my wife always liked. Unfortunately, the image is faded beyond recognition on her old t-shirt.
My trouble is that I'm unable to find the image or it's artist. Here's a...
Sorry for the thread necromancy!
Just wanted to say that I love the Changeling and Warforged. I'm unsure about the Shifters' subraces. Their abilities seem boring.
I kickstarted these tact-tiles. I went for 12 tiles, which I hope will be enough.
U.S. shipping to Canada has really increased in the recent years. I'm lucky to have a friend that doesn't mind that I use his P.O. box in the USA for that.
Hello everyone!
I would greatly appreciate advice regarding the art of negociation with a villain. In a lot of Adventure Paths or modules, it is suggested that players negociate with 1 villain to take down another. That's great in theory, but I was never able to convincingly negociate with the...
4 out of 5 rating for 13th Age Core Book
There's a lot of things that I like in 13th Age. For me, it's a better version of D&D 4th edition that puts more focus on the character.I love playing this game in convention, since the story is often inspired by the characters and their icons.
I'm a big fan of almost any of the D&D settings that I'm aware of : Mystara, Ravenloft, Eberron, Birthright and Dark Sun. For some reason, I never liked the Forgotten Realms. I always thought there was too much lore to ramp up.
Sadly, I never got to know much of Greyhawk. What books / old box...
5 out of 5 rating for Numenera Core Rulebook
There's a lot of great things in Numenera: character creation, the setting itself, the no-dice-throwing for the GM (which was a lot better in practice than would have thought), etc. I felt that character options were somewhat lacking in the book. Not...
5 out of 5 rating for The Strange Corebook
Pros:- A very rich and original setting, that will take time to sink in and digest. - A character creation slightly different from Numenera.Cons:- Choosing focus the first time characters go to a recursion can be time consuming.
