    Spoilers Alien: Earth Spoiler Thread

    Spoilers Alien: Earth Spoiler Thread

Sure, and why I say that you have to be a connoisseur of cheesy sci-fi to appreciate them. Tying all three into an 80's dystopia is sort of genius. Plus for the criticisms of Prometheus, it does have Noomi Rapace, and Idris Alba, such a good cast. The herpetologist touching the alien snake? I...

Yes, because then you would hate City of Lost Children, and that would be absurd. I would say even the worst of the movies essentially work, it's a hardy setting, the worst film, is in fact one of the AVP's. The straight Alien ones are at least all watchable.

You can't reason with them because if they were reasonable, then they wouldn't be nazis in the first place.

Worlds of Design: The Problem with Space Navies, Part 1

Missile vs lasers, or other point defence, the idea is often overburdening the defence, US Navy calls it Suppression of Enemy Air Defence Systems or SEADS. Ultimately just fire enough missiles til they get through.

What are your thoughts on TTRPGs with non-standard dice?

Generally no as it is a hassle, if they come with a game that is ok.

    D&D General D&D: Literally Don't Understand This

It was a more innocent age, or maybe not; though I have to say that it is curious that people want to complain about modern D&D vs playing one of the literally thousand other games out there.
