As far as I know, the True20 Companion is still in the editing/layout stage. The website says "coming soon." So, when it's coming out is anyone's guess! Spot-on, sir... I mentioned this fact in my discussion of the modern Adept in the book.

It's the only book in the Unorthodox line written for d20 Modern.

Probably. My advice? Wait for the True20 Companion. Not only will it contain guidelines for designing your own roles (classes), but the Modern chapter will contain new roles specifically geared for modern campaigns. Also, there are some nifty guidelines for using the Adept in modern games...

My current system of choice is d20 Modern. It might have a few rules inconsistencies, but it does cover almost all the points you're looking for. I haven't had a chance to try it, but I believe True20 might be a better system for Modern gaming.

Based on your descriptions, I can see that similar products have been done, but it does not seem possible for you to have "duplicated" existing products in those areas. Looking forward to seeing what you have to offer.

Typically, a quick browse of RPGNow or DTRPG should be sufficient. Or, you could make a post in ENWorld's general forum in search of recommendations of products along certain themes. It is, of course, easier to answer this question with a better idea of exactly what you have written.

I am so far behind... I blame the True20 Companion (you'll see). Tomorrowy (Sunday) is a free day, so I'll be seeing if I can make the 7,200 word push I need to catch up.

I'll second the recommendation for Modern Backdrops. It's an excellent resource if you want good plots and twists in the X-Files vein. I'll also second Alien Invasion as an excellent resource for running ant extraterrestrial conspiracy.
