Well, these expansions are actually great... provided you have the available playing space. I've only tried the Mallwalker add on, but it rocked. I highly recommend looking into the expansions if you like Zombies!!!

Matter of opinion, it used to be my favorite system before d20 came along. ;) The original Mekton version of JC was made by Ianus games (it's sitting on my shelf), which IS DP9. They changed their name later on when they broke away from doing an anime magazine, IIRC.

My friends and I love this game, and every time I visit Montreal, we play it to death. Ironically, we invented some extra rules too. Must be a sign of a true roleplayer to invent extra rules for boardgames. ;)

Not really, in Canada our beginning-of-July holiday is July 1st (Canada Day). I doubt other countries have a vacation on the same day as the US. If they do, it's likely a matter of coincidence more than anything else.

My friends and I have tried WebRPG, mIRC, a homebrew flash-based chat program that my friend made, and MSN messenger. We keep coming back to Messenger, oddly enough. If you trust your player's rolls, then all you really need is a regular solid chat program.
