Nominate your MOST ANTICIPATED RPG of 2020

I too am looking forward to this game, but are there any indications that it will be published in 2020?

Cubicle 7 No Longer Producing The One Ring and Adventures in Middle Earth

RPG publishing is not that profitable. C7 will be paid for the work that its done else any rights of that work (writing, artwork, etc) won't be transferred therefore won't be able to be used in the product that is eventually published. So such speculation is merely implying wrongdoing that is...

Best Selling Games on DTRPG By Genre

I'm surprised Scion doesn't appear in the Fantasy list. Signs of Sorcery appears both in Fantasy and Modern and I'd consider Scion both a Fantasy and Modern genre game in the same way Signs of Sorcery has been considered by its publisher.

Best Selling Games on DTRPG By Genre

I'm not suggesting not allowing multiple genres, but perhaps having one selected as the main genre. Although I do acknowledge the difficulty with games such as Shadowrun.

What's Your Favorite System for Star Wars

I only have one "Star Wars" rpg at the moment - Scum and Villainy. So I guess that's my answer.

Best Selling Games on DTRPG By Genre

I think drivethru should have a main genre for a game for the purpose of working out "best-selling". (and perhaps other stats) I'm not sure the utility of allowing as many genres as possible to be selected when a game wouldn't be viewed as that genre by purchasers. As examples: Dragon-Blooded...

Nominate your MOST ANTICIPATED RPG of 2020

I have a couple of nominations. Vaesen - Nordic Horror Roleplaying by Free League Publishing (Fria Ligan). Heart: The City Beneath RPG by Rowan, Rook & Decard. I'm not sure about when Exalted Essence (Onyx Path) will actually be released, but if its 2020 then there will be a lot of people...

    Warhammer lore

Part of the attraction of WFRP is that the Career write-ups also help detail the setting of the Old World.

Wrath & Glory Core Rulebook Cover Reveal

I was OK with the original cover art. This new one is OK as well. As far as I understand it so far, the rules aren’t being changed but they’re being presented to be less messy, and likely the points for the Tiers recosted so you can actually create a Tier 3 character by using the arrays given...

What about the Trudvang Rules? Are they good? Are they bad? Are they chocolate?

Have you ever written a standalone set of RPG rules?

No I have not. I think I want to. I think there is a system I would like to use. I think I know what genre it would be. But there it ends. Lack of time, an inability to turn the thoughts into words, all conspire against me.

I thought this is how people deal with death in RPGs. Did Jack Chick lie to me?

Age of Sigmar's Cover Art Unveiled

Age of Sigmar feels to me like GW took the gonzo of WH40K and circled it around back to fantasy. Although I love my WFRP I am likely to pick at least the core book up. Having more Warhammer games ain’t a bad thing.

Whats a good Post Apocalypse RPG

Another Powered By The Apocalypse post-apocalypse game is Legacy: Life Among The Ruins 2nd Edition. I think you could technically call Blades in the Dark post-apocalypse in that its fantasy world experienced an apocalypse but its focus isn't on Mad Max survival.

    Why Worldbuilding is Bad

I think there's a difference between WotC selling a setting and a person in a basement creating their own setting for their own campaign. WotC are selling a product to people who don't want to spend the time to create their own setting and so must have enough details to attract buyers. The...
