The CGI is terrible. This looks really dumb. Maybe dumb fun, but probably dumb bad.

I see tons of Dragonborn. So far there have been zero warforged and one tabaxi among my newbies. After elves and dwarves the most popular non-human species that I see are dragonborn, goliaths, orcs, and goblins.

I think that is the worst trailer I have ever seen. If the point was to make me want to eat my own skin rather than sit through that film, then mission accomplished.

Frankly, when I'm done with D&D then I'm done with fantasy for awhile. I don't see a huge advantage to transitioning to a whole other rules system to experience basically the same stories. It's all just tinkering at the edges.

My first move would be to heat up the miniature and see if you can't get it into the pegs - 90% of the time, that works. Second option would be to remove the pegs and glue the miniature directly onto the base using superglue. I'm not sure why you would need to rough up the base before painting...

I think this is a pretty widespread opinion.

WotC just announced that digital sales are now more than 60% of their total for D&D, and the vast majority of that will be DDB. Given how much better the profit margins are on an in-house digital sale, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for another format, unless Chaosium wants to foot the bill.

Eh, I used to run a Rolemaster campaign. It’s a lot more complex than any version of D&D IMO.
