That's wonderful, I hope they can capture that spirit in this new iteration. Hopefully it is configured in a way that makes it easy to digest for new players as well. I know getting new folks into 1E is not always the easiest unless they have a bit of knowledge of GW's other IPs.

Based more on the first two? Awesome. I'm an avid fan of first edition and hope this will fit in nicely with that while bringing new folks to the game.

I just hope that if they keep rehashing enough of the Greyhawk content that we get Greyhawk opened up for DMsGuild just like we had Ravenloft opened up with Curse of Stradh.

This will be a buy from me, both for the fact that I like the originals and the fact that Goodman Games makes really good stuff. Now we just need to have Greyhawk open up for the DMsGuild....

Yup and now there is another option that isn't free. There is even free sheets on the wotc site itself, several different ones and even pdfs of different starter characters premade.
