I have the Eberron Player's Guide and Kingdom of Ghouls

Hey non-evil drow are also extremely rare too! Players always want these kinds of options. Problem is that in the end rare becomes rather common. Still Eberron probably does have a good way of limiting dragonmarks regardless of what your players want; the simple fact that the dragonmarked...

I have the Eberron Player's Guide and Kingdom of Ghouls

As was explained months ago, dragonmarks can extremely rarely appear beyond their hereditary lines as the direct hand of the Prophecy moving on Eberron. It should be extremely rare but technically there would be no restriction.

I have the Eberron Player's Guide and Kingdom of Ghouls

Prescient Bard is almost a perfect fit for a class Hellcow had made with the Kalashtar in mind (the thoughtsinger). I kind of expected the psion leader to give me that option but it seems it's been here for over a month now:)

    Higher than level 30?

I think you can offer more gameplay at level easily without increasing the level cap. First you need enough monsters and exarchs and whatnot to fight for say 20-30 encounters after 30. Then you can just add benefits that level 30 players can buy for XP. Just additional feats with a few unique...

Ampersand: Debut and Exclusive Content (Assassin Class)

I very much hope we will never see levels beyond 30 but rather additional options for level 30 characters being unlocked with XP. Pay XP to buy some 4th tier (legendary?) features.

    Games you won't play

I'll play anything with good friends. I will only DM 4E these days (cause I am spoiled that way).

Edition War Across the Net or Where Have You Been?

Well I have about every rulebook since AD&D and I am inclined to agree with jdrakeh. Many of the broad rules stayed same between 3E and 4E while few if any did between 2E and 3E. The one thing that AD&D and 3E had in common that 4E does not have is vancian magic and the massive number of spells...

    OotS #657 is up

I think I get your point. It really ends up as a debate on what control a soul has over the body. By claiming V's soul I think we can safely assume that this means they can control her soul but how does that affect the whole? In D&D or at least in the version of the rules that affect OotSverse...

Edition War Across the Net or Where Have You Been?

I think that forums that are more restrictive on what edition to play may be prone to uninhibited trolling of the editions they don't support.

    OotS #657 is up

It's not so much that they will claim his body, in fact their contract explicitly specified it would be her/his soul. However nowhere did it say that they could only claim her soul after she died. Claiming her soul beforehand should be akin to possession and thus, it would give them control of...

(4e) How often do minions appear in your game?

I'll agree with Fallen Seraph on about 70% of at least some minions per fight. Often I will have enough to round up the fight's XP total and because I have two controllers I don't shy from fights with a dozen minions or more.

    OotS #657 is up

V got caught in the exact same situation she was in Azure city. Invisible, able to escape and feeling unable to do anything to save someone. This time around she decided to stick around. This is definitely a good act and a good start at redemption, though familicide will take a lot of good deeds...

Edition War Across the Net or Where Have You Been?

This is until WotC does a new blunder whether it is an actual blunder or just a communication one. But yes EnWorld had decent enough moderation that it will take a lot of hard trolling for either side to manage to send the place to the dogs (and by then mods will start swinging the banhammer...

Edition War Across the Net or Where Have You Been?

Tbh the worst I saw was not on general forums but on Wizard's FR forums. It wasn't so much angry responses but far more like condescension by the very tight-knit group that practically rules those forums which I for one found far more aggrieving (this was from the 3.5 people but ofc on the FR...

Do your PCs use Rituals regularly?

I have a rather large group and 4 ritual users, a Wizard for Arcana and Religion, a Druid for Nature, a Cleric for Heal and a Bard for bardic rituals. They all make liberal use of rituals. On a straight dungeon crawl it feels that rituals are mainly used to overcome obstacles or gain knowledge...

    I Need a Sea Monster

Oh comeon he asked for A sea monster, not THE sea monster;) You can always go with a dinosaur. Or a kraken. Or a morkoth. Or a half-illithid kraken (ouch!).

Do your PCs use Rituals regularly?

Yes, but (and here is the catch) I often include ritual reagents as part of treasure. So some times they don't get gold or art but valuable herbs or rare incense or alchemical substances.

    Dwarven Druids and other weirdnesses

Because druids are all about appreciating nature as it is and dwarves are all about improving nature through work. For a dwarf a mountain does not have inherent beauty but it has potential beauty after hard work has been done to perfect it. This is very much opposed to the druid ethic.

    I Need a Sea Monster

A scylla? From Stormwrack (or greek mythology:) ).

    Dwarven Druids and other weirdnesses

Actually the halfling storm sorcerer reminds me of a personal old favorite, the halfling whistler (a bard build from the Complete Bard's Handbook). He could whistle up a storm:)
