    D&D 5E (2024) Do you plan to adopt D&D5.5One2024Redux?

If the campaign doesn't start with them going to Ravenloft and, instead they found themselves in Barovia later in the campaign, I would not (unlike my normal informing of house rules prior to character gen). It would just be consequences of traveling to a different plane Best that I would do is...

    D&D 5E (2024) Do you plan to adopt D&D5.5One2024Redux?

I don't own more recent editions of Ravenloft, but, in the original box set, it was my understanding that they could only travel to domains within the Mist (it has been a long time since I have looked at/ran the box set). So, if I were to use Ravenloft, that is how I would run it rather using...

D&D General No Humans? (Well, the players... but that's it.)

Humblewood, I might play. Would have to know more about the setting (e.g. is it just anthropomorhic animals rather than also including elves, dragonborn, etc.) and be in the mood for anthromorphic animals (if that is the game). Crash Pandas would be a no.

D&D General No Humans? (Well, the players... but that's it.)

This is why I assumed D&D as well. If we were playing something based on say Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo or either Looney Tunes or Walter Lantz animation, I would be fine with no humans.* *edit: However, I would have to be in a specific type of mood for either.

D&D General No Humans? (Well, the players... but that's it.)

I'll run/play in a game that in which humans are the only race, but I have no interest in a game without humans as a playable race.

    Thanks for ACE

I don't have ACE, but the Omnibus is on my list of games to buy. I just need to first finish my to buy list for Savage Worlds, Icons: Asssembled, Mutants & Masterminds, and WEG Star Wars.

What is your favorite RPG book of all time?

Hard for me to say. Off the top of my head, Psychic's Handbook, Shaman's Handbook, Witch's Handbook (all written by Steve Kenson and published by Green Ronin) are definitely in the list of contenders. 2e Complete Thief's Handbook, Insults & Injuries, Experts 3.5, Chaosium's Cities, Rolemaster...

    D&D 3.x 3.0 third party books

These are all great. For @Bestbake , Legions of Hell: Book of Fiends #1 and Hordes of the Abyss: Book of Fiends #2 were released individually for 3.0. They were updated and compiled for 3.5 in Book of Fiends which also includes, essenentially, a third volume not released under 3.0.

    D&D 3.x 3.0 third party books

A good one that deserves mention.

    D&D 3.x 3.0 third party books

I saw the preview and thought and it looked impressive. I gave up trying to find a copy at a reasonable price.

    D&D 3.x 3.0 third party books

I started to include both this and Hot Pursuit: On Foot. I just have not used them despite owning them. Good stuff

    D&D 3.x 3.0 third party books

Wow, you are right. I did know that the Skirmisher stuff was 3.5 as well as a few other items. I also did start to note in a prior post that there were some were 3.5 updates (e.g. Experts) or compilations and updates (e.g. Behind the Spells*, Book of Fiends), I deleted that before posting after...

    D&D 3.x 3.0 third party books

Actually, I got most of these during 3.0. Only a couple are 3.5.

D&D 5E (2014) Players, would you play in a game that only used the 5.1 SRD?

No problem with it. Then again, my starting point is, essentially, the SRD without dragonborn, tiefling, and dragon sorcerer. From there, I add some additional PHB subclasses (e.g. additional cleric domains, battlemaster fighter, and Arch-fey Patron), and third party material.

D&D General Mundane animals - do you use them in game?

Yes, I use mundane animals. In fact, the following are among some of my favorite D&D books/pdfs: Bestiary: Predators (Betabunny) Noble Steeds: A d20 Guide to Horses & Mounts (Avalanche Press) Sharks! (Bards and Sages) Snakes! (Bards and Sages) Spiders! (Bards and Sages)

D&D General Who “owns” a PC after the player stops using them?

For me, if the player is still in the campaign, the player has "ownership" and determines whether the character still appears in the game. If the player leaves the campaign, the player owns the basics of the character minus any setting/campaign specific details. On the otherhand, the DM is free...

The Rise And Fall Of Evil Genius Games

Trust me, I get not wanting to deal with such people. I haven't had to deal with anti LGBTQ+ bigotry directed at me as I am not part of that community (I do have two friends and three people whom are like relatives that are, plus another relative, now deceased, that was). However, I have had to...

The Rise And Fall Of Evil Genius Games

True. Even in the other instances the people knew with whom they were dealing or might be dealing with ahead of time. The people from the Museum of Tolerance they knew they would be interacting neo-nazis and the LGBTQ+ advocates knew with whom they might encounter when they set out canvasing (on...
