It depends on if GG got that promise in contractual writing. If they make no profit and can only use the funds to right a wrong, then that is ….something. Barring a legal obligation, then that promise has zero force to it.

Do we? How do a few hundred people cover an entire group? I cannot judge the whole group based on internet trolls. The vast majority of backers will have no clue about junior. Many will get an email asking them to back and will decide on past experience with GG.

I play 5e. I never got into OSR. I am constantly amazed at the underlying level of dislike or outright hate that group gets from folks.

Frog God has updated Bard's Gate to 5e. It is on Drivethrurpg but I will stay with my HC original. I loved that book.

Bard's Gate and Freeport are also very good city settings.

I do not think anyone in the other thread expressed a desire to ostracize folks who purchased the product. I think most indicated voting with their wallet, which I support. I agree with you and most folks who purchase will not be aware of any controversy.

We routinely have bandwidth issues with using discord. This is newer since they are pushing more ads and seem to be making the product worse in order to sell their nitro boosts etc. Discord was much better before they sold out.
