I hope this D&D "channel" isn't a stand-alone app, This seems like the perfect thing for services like Pluto TV (sister company of Paramount) or Tubi. Also, didn't know Lillard was into D&D and co-founded B&G. Neat.

That was another thought I had: this looks like it could be a good Diablo alternative (I also had Torchlight, but I've burned through that series, already).

The first thing that comes to mind when I hear "Abomination Vault Video Game" is Troika's adaptation of "The Temple of Elemental Evil".

This sounds like a decent game, but I can just strip the "Cthulhu" out of Call or Trail. I do appreciate an actual "pure historical" game being on the market, at least.

Personally, I'd say if an attack with the dagger reduces the target to 0 HP, they are DEAD. No death saves, nothing short of True Resurrection will bring them back, do not pass "Go", do not collect 200 gp. You. Are. DONE. Son.

Old-School Essentials put out a D&D Basic class in their 'zine series, Carcass Crawler, called the Mage. It's both a Gandalf send up AND a thought experiment: what if you replaced spell memorization with the Thief's percentile skill rolls. You get things like "open/close", "detect magic"...

Seriously, can someone PLEASE license and export as many of the Japanese-only CoC modules as possible? I've been really curious about that side of the game for a long while. Plus, it'd have to be cheaper than writing new books from scratch. Sword World in English would ALSO be interesting.

How does a subclass option ruin the entire class? I genuinely don't get that. Personally, I like the idea of martials getting SOME magic options, but I'd really restrict them. WotC went with specific schools, I'm thinking a sub-list. Defensive spells (Shield, Mage Armor, Absorb Elements), Melee...
