Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I've only got a little experience with discord. How do you find dedicated servers for gaming? Is there some sort of search mechanism?

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Huh. All this time I've been throwing a little lump of bat poop, as the book instructs, but with no effect! Maybe that's for electric stoves?

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Marilith Is Far More Bestial In 2025

They were painted as tactical geniuses in the 3.5e MM, at least. For example, fluff text indicated that they "are generals and tacticians, often rivaling balors in sheer brilliance and cunning"; that they "thrive on grand strategy and army level tactics"; and so forth. eta: Similar verbiage...

D&D General Do You Use "D&D" As Code For "RPGs"?

I've used "D&D" to mean fantasy rpgs broadly, though I'm usually referring to something pretty closely D&D-adjacent when I do. With non-gamers, and speaking generally, my usual term is just "roleplaying" or "roleplaying gaming" or even just "gaming". A term I've heard in the last several years...

D&D 5E (2024) Anyone else's top choice for new setting Witchlight: Domains of Delight?

If it was structured similarly to the Van Richten's book, that would really appeal to me. I felt that VRGtR had a good level of detail on a broad enough number of domains that it was useful and enjoyable for someone not already super-steeped in existing D&D lore. If an analogous book for Domains...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

"Acquainted with Waffles" would be a fine title for an autobiography, or name of a garage band.

    Amazon takes over Bond franchise

And all I'm saying is when someone hangs on to something painfully, it's almost never because because they're idiots; it's because of something else, something important to them if not to anyone else.

    Amazon takes over Bond franchise

Entitled how? Last Bond I saw was Pierce Brosnan. Don't call people idiots when you don't actually know their motives. Their situation is almost always more complex than simple stupidity.

    Amazon takes over Bond franchise

Forget the wealth thing. People do things for different reasons. Declaring someone an "idiot" for doing something you don't personally understand the why or whatfor it is presumptuous, in particular if they're not hurting anyone else.

    Amazon takes over Bond franchise

That's solely matter of personal taste. Some people simply don't feel a compulsion to spend or show off their wealth. So be it. That doesn't make them "idiots".

D&D General Which herbs must be in your fantasy game?

I'll second this. It's a fantastic resource largely based on real-world folklore, iirc. Plus it's just a beautiful book, as well. The author has done/is doing a couple others in the same vein other different topics, for example one about minerals.

Can't do that. The Colonel would have us both killed!

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Same here. When I was a kid, things like turnips, cabbage, dark greens, radishes were all painfully bitter (which I gather is the case for a lot of kids). Now, I enjoy (most) cruciferous veggies, even raw. For whatever reason my tongue just doesn't burn like it used to in reaction to whatever...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

Yeah, i tend to agree. If I noticed that on a menu, i'd just up and leave. Eta, i can't even imagine a serious eating establishment not understanding that, either.
