I've only got a little experience with discord. How do you find dedicated servers for gaming? Is there some sort of search mechanism?

I've used "D&D" to mean fantasy rpgs broadly, though I'm usually referring to something pretty closely D&D-adjacent when I do. With non-gamers, and speaking generally, my usual term is just "roleplaying" or "roleplaying gaming" or even just "gaming". A term I've heard in the last several years...

Are those classes from some 3pp supplement?

If it was structured similarly to the Van Richten's book, that would really appeal to me. I felt that VRGtR had a good level of detail on a broad enough number of domains that it was useful and enjoyable for someone not already super-steeped in existing D&D lore. If an analogous book for Domains...

"Acquainted with Waffles" would be a fine title for an autobiography, or name of a garage band.

Entitled how? Last Bond I saw was Pierce Brosnan. Don't call people idiots when you don't actually know their motives. Their situation is almost always more complex than simple stupidity.

Forget the wealth thing. People do things for different reasons. Declaring someone an "idiot" for doing something you don't personally understand the why or whatfor it is presumptuous, in particular if they're not hurting anyone else.

That's solely matter of personal taste. Some people simply don't feel a compulsion to spend or show off their wealth. So be it. That doesn't make them "idiots".

I'll second this. It's a fantastic resource largely based on real-world folklore, iirc. Plus it's just a beautiful book, as well. The author has done/is doing a couple others in the same vein other different topics, for example one about minerals.

Yeah, i tend to agree. If I noticed that on a menu, i'd just up and leave. Eta, i can't even imagine a serious eating establishment not understanding that, either.
