D&D General Why do people like Alignment?

I think that is a perfectly fine campaign specific view. My gods are a lot smaller than that.

D&D General Why do people like Alignment?

I have about 5 or 6 deities like that, the rest are like Immortals from Basic, or like the Greek Pantheon.

Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes of the Borderlands - First Impressions

Yeah, the slay without implications creatures have become different creatures. I.e. automaton army, animated undead, invading generic "things" from other worlds, etc. etc. And thats fine...if you want a gritty moral game, have a home setting with humans versus humans because of "reasons"...

    D&D General Self-Defeating Rules in D&D

A minor point: All the "adventures" (patrols) I have been on, the above is pretty realistic. Which is why our adventuring group (squad) would always bring a dedicated trained medic if possible. Just saying its another way of looking at it...

Daggerheart "Description on Demand" a GM DON'T

My players dont like "description on demand" for things that should be the DM's purview. I.e. ask them to describe whats in the treasures chest. "A staff of the magi".. DM: "Uh, no". But they do like things that they control, like the famous "How do you want to do this?" or "you created a...
