I feel you on some of this. You have a hard decision. My friends are using 2014 phb. If this vexes you, you might have to find a similar group. New is NOT always superior. We played 1e to 1999/2000 and did not miss out on anything. So so many hours of fun….

I watched the whole video and thought they surely told me what the book is about. That does not mean I like all of the new art. But it does tell me believe I will like a lot of the new content though…enough to buy the DMG at least…
