D&D General Would a feat be right for the ability to cast/use scrolls? (Nevermind)

I thought that, but I cant find it anywhere.

    I made a terrible life decision…

I really like the flavor. Very reminiscent of WoW flavor (of course). Some very stylish races, the classes are decent, warlock (soul eater) is very cool. Sigil are mechanic where you attach magic to your body. There's a whole chapter about the Mark of the Serpent, has unique powers and detriments

I guess I was channeling my inner 3.5. Oh well at my age and having played all editions...I can't be blamed...right...right?

Say as a one use item? I know the current rules...EDIT: Whoops, look like I'm not hip to current rules, apparently anyone can use scrolls now.

    D&D 5E (2014) Monk's Unarmoured Movement Improvement & Climbing Speed

Think of it as a nearly impossible to climb glass wall. Monk with vertical movement...up and out... Character with climb speed...unlikely... Monk with climb speed...up as far as vertical movement allows...if not "up and out" then makes a climb check at same nearly impossible DC or falls back...

D&D 5E (2024) Mike Mearls explains why your boss monsters die too easily

As a side note; We only allow them (bolded) to choose from the PH. Anything else is "faith or esoteric knowledge" from specialized churches/cults.

D&D General Weave Your Tale in the Forgotten Realms With 8 Epic Subclasses (D&D Beyond Article)

I like the Melnibonean ones from old Dieties and Demigods better. Kakatal, The Fire Emperor, The Burning Storm Straasha, Lord of Water, The Swirling Wave Misha, Sovereign of Winds, The Rushing Gale Grome, King of Earth and Root, The Stone Fist

D&D 5E (2024) Mike Mearls explains why your boss monsters die too easily

I hear your point about CR. But if I was concerned that the mobs had no ranged weapons in a scenario where (10 average int) they may have them, I might give some a shortbow and recalculate the cr of the battle. Also, wasn't there some verbiage somewhere about changing weapons was negligible...

D&D General Weave Your Tale in the Forgotten Realms With 8 Epic Subclasses (D&D Beyond Article)

My thoughts are; If you are using the paladin class as a chassis for a concept...go wild. (but its not a lore/in game paladin) If its a paladin paladin, then it's divine sponsor or divinish oath.
