Never heard of anyone cooking steak in an oven, but then I mostly eat pub meals.

I've always had a bit of a conspiracy theory that chefs push the rare = better narrative because it's quicker/ better for them to keep the tables turning over. Personally I prefer medium-well, but I'll ask for medium when eating out because they give you older cuts of meat if you ask for well done.

What's more important to creating a massive success? Hardcore superfans or the hordes of casuals? I believe that people want more romance, (romance doesn't need to be adult in nature) and so do WotC:

Exactly, that's all I was saying. Speculation is not proof. Personally, I don't think TTRPG's and Video games are an exact match for audience, etc... Adult content in a game where it's all scripted in advance, that can be turned off at any time is very different to similar content in a TTRPG...

There entire 2014 rules are optional in the 2024 revision. So, to me it feels like there are even more optional rules then before.

How is: ‘Your story is yours to tell’ dictating the love lives of your character? They are literally saying the opposite.

Or to put it another way, kids today want roleplay and storytelling, and so do plenty of older players.

The tagline for the post was ‘In this realm, your story is yours to tell’ Seems to me like the goal of the post was to remind people they can play the game however they want, as the game is for everyone. Funny how some people feel excluded by that.
