    [Adventure] A Chef's Request (DM:renau1g; judge: covaithe)

-''You no fear! Ghorgor is here! Hey, it be rhyme...'' Ghorgor takes a running start and then leaps accross the water, falling just short of the boat and producing a huge splash that wets everyone in a large radius. Before anyone has time to worries, his huge hands emerges from the water...

    Adventure: Protection (Mal Malenkirk)

You can't slide the Swordman to O24 with your flurry of blow damage; the target must be slid to an adjacent square. You are only dispensed from that restriction if the target of the flurry of blow wasn't the target of the triggering attack. Given that restriction, the only logical square to...

    [Adventure] A Chef's Request (DM:renau1g; judge: covaithe)

Are the patch of wood difficult terrains or obstacle? I hope the former. It's a rare tree trunk that has a diameter of 5 feet! I am expecting this are more like bushes. It's important for my next move (You can cut accross in diagonal of a difficult terrain but not an obstacle)

    Adventure: Protection (Mal Malenkirk)

That sounds good (and very clever). Yes, if he provokes an OA while you have CA, you get to sneak attack.

    Adventure: Protection (Mal Malenkirk)

Target for Twin Strike is One of Two Creature. I am not aware that you have to declare both targets before rolling the first attack roll so I always assumed it was legit to roll first and see if you killed the target before deciding who to shoots next.

Proposal: Delete Eldritch Strike house rule.

Well, given that she had only one cold power (a daily), I wouldn't say it was that ideal for this theme either (not sufficient, at any rate). If that was the theme, a better move would have been to ask a houserule to have Hellish Rebuke become 'Frostbite' (same power but cold damage) rather...

Adventure: Lord Byron's Lost Silver (DM: Tenchuu, Judge: H.M.Gimlord)

Hergunna, seeing that Charina is in trouble tries to help her demolish the trap. Thorn Whip vs Trap for (1d20+9=28, 1d8+5=6) Figures, minimum damage on both attacks. Just needed a 5 on 1d8+1d10 to break it.

    XP Levels Revealed!

So if I understand correctly, this is the thread we come to in order to fill up on easy XP? Kinda like one of those spawning points in MMORPGs where dozens of adventurers gather around a spot to wack monsters as soon as they appears?

    Adventure: Protection (Mal Malenkirk)

She shot H20 (obviously enough; that's the only one she sees) who had 23 hp at the start of this turn. It's down to 9. I did not specify which of these two shot at you; I bundled the two together as the 'north archers' but it has to be H19 (who used to be the one on the edge of the eastern...

Adventure: Lord Byron's Lost Silver (DM: Tenchuu, Judge: H.M.Gimlord)

Charina swears loudly as she is almost pushed off the edge. She decides that this damn statue has to go and shoots it in the head. Free Save: 11 Other roll: It means I don't like EN world roller. Move: Up Standard: Sly Flourish VS Trap (1d20+14=19, 1d10+11=12) I did not realize that the...

    Adventure: Protection (Mal Malenkirk)

I played a bit with a square grid and saw that if you are 8 square away from the building, you can see the tip of the top of the square of someone standing two square in. So Mikara could target the nearest of the two archers with superior cover (-5). First attack she rolled missed, the...

    Adventure: Protection (Mal Malenkirk)

Fixed a few things such as archer locations and Dante HP. Most of you don't have LOE on the archers and so can't attack them. The reason their location is known is that Aedan sees them all quite clearly plus they didn't make a stealth check anyway. But if they are 4 square high and not on...

    Adventure: Into the Wild

Raiko leads his flock and the other adventurers back to Daunton, taking advantage of the temprorary weakness in the folds of reality caused by the recent plane hopping. The large troop finds itself crowded inside a chapel dedicated to Asmodeus, prince of devils, and surrounded by armed...

Proposal: Delete Eldritch Strike house rule.

The house rule exists to accomodate a player who no longer game here. I can't remember the name, but the PC was TsiRi, a githyanki infernal warlock (I DMed her so she is in my library). She loved being in melee so she took the eldtritch strike power but she prefered the Eldritch blast to the...

    Potential for new Character Builder

Before becoming enthusiastic about the damn thing's potential, I'll need to be able to successfully complete at least one PC... Things work well enough until it's time to select powers and then nothing loads. I see a nice 'Select Powers' headline with no options under it. Super.

    Why Play D&D?

You put an awful lot of thoughts into countering a beer based argument... I guess it means you agree with me that beer is one of the best thing in life. Good, now I feel closer to you. Close enough to offer you this bit of advice; Never take beer based argument at face value, they are...

    If Dragons were real...

They all had teeth and looked like you should hide your children from them. They clearly went extinct so... pretty stupid. Vain. They loved getting their portrait taken. Not big on ecology, though, what with the fire breathing and all. Oh, we couldn't coexist. Dragons demand the...

    Why Play D&D?

Because of beer. If you are playing a game with four or five buddies, drinking beer is just sensible. But if you are alone in your basement, playing a computer game wearing only your underwears and cheetos stains... drinking beer is a cry for help. Now, we all know that life needs beer so...
