I'm surprised he's still using gmbinder, it's not really reliable iirc it's no longer maintained. Homebrewery is the go-to, I believe. I've only had practical experience with one of his classes, the Savant. The PC was built so the party basically never failed skill-checks :'D

I'd probably look at reskinning stuff from both A5E and VRC. If I was looking for inspiration, I would look at the d20 modern books from the 3e era- they had quite a following and A5E definitely reminds me of 3e in some ways.

A5E berserker is so good it's really not in the same class as any other class, from what I can tell- but I've been disagreed with on that point (some say it's the fighter).

I wasn't trying to gotcha you, just replying to the other poster :) And like I said, create food n' water is heavily nerfed from the 5e version, which provides food and water for !fifteen! people. A5E creates enough for two or three, since its text suggests you're sacrificing one supply...

Goodberry's the obvious 5e spell that makes food unnecessary, while also providing on-demand healing.. as a 1st level spell! Available immediately! A5E makes goodberry provide healing, but it doesn't give days nourishment like the 5e version. A5E has create food and water but that's a 3rd level...

So, funny thing, with 5e's wording the haversack is almost a worse bag of holding- you need to reference the haversack to realize that while retrieving something from BoH is an action, you can't just grab whatever you want out of it easily, because that's what the haversack does :'D
