in cyberpunk, everyone is human. Just make human npcs of the needed cr and give them the same weapons. In shadowrun, just use ogers where it says trolls, give them the d20 weapons equivilent, convert the casters to fit the needed CR, and stay away from the VR stuff.

why don't you try old shadowrun or cyberpunk adventures?

Just use d20 modern. When they get to a point where they want to specialize in a fantasy thorpe, let them talke D&D levels. This may throw the CR system out of wack a bit. A d20mod class level is about 5/8ths the power of a D&D class level.
