From memory, wasn't it a feat in 3e? Maybe make it a feat in 5e but also include a wizard subclass for the shadow adept, gaining the effects of the feat for free but also gaining the abilities of the prestige class as they level. I guess with 5e multiclassing a prestige class would still work...

I wouldn't say this is really non-accurate given that Ra is alternatively spelled Re, though admittedly I much prefer the spelling Ra.

There are some people on the site that really grate on me, my forum viewing has improved immensely with them blocked, far nicer experience. Fair if you don't want to use it, but I think the block button is invaluable.

Thanks for posting it, and thanks @Alzrius for being so persistent. I've recently started looking back at 3e, cool to see some 3rd party stuff I've never seen before.

Never came up in my games, I'd changed it so that it only hedged out vermin and weather but was otherwise permeable. I don't think I even needed to let my players know that I'd changed it (I'd have allowed them to select something else if they didn't like the changes).

MR in 2e should have ran like 1e with higher level spellcasters being better able to bypass it. But the real resistance for high level monsters was their saving throws which increased to the point where using a control spell (even without magic resistance) was a risky proposition which likely...

I don't know much about Chessenta, but the mulan weren't the same ethnicity when first grabbed by Imasker, they were different when first brought over then through intermarriage became the mulan. I only know this because I've been recently reading the 2e FR deity books.
