As what a minigun is, it looks decent enough, I'd up the ammunition output per round (prolly around 200 or so) and give it a bigger area maybe 20'x20' but other then that not bad. And I would deffinately use the hot barrels thing, cept make it after 3 rounds it needs to cool down for atleast 1...

Even including all the PrC's and specialty books I find that archers are still so easy to neutralize and take out. It's just my own personal opinion that I have found to be more then true. And it is an opinion that I have gotten from experience and just plain old looking at things and watching.

This isn't a term but it is a pet peeve of mine. Why do so many DM's always assume that you have to use monsters and not other humanoids to throw at the party?

They are easy taken out of almost any situation. Sure they have moments they shine in, just like every other class. But other then those moments, which aren't many, they are so very easy to take out and neutralize.

I also agree that rapid shot is a left over from 1st and 2nd edition. But then again I say let the archers have a decent feat since they suck. I just find it way too easy to take out archers. There are so many different ways for each scenario. Especially if you have mages or sor's or psions or...

No archer can ever be uber unless someone is cheating. There are a ton of easy ways around so called "uber archers".

I've never played a sor but have been in groups with sors in them. I have played a psion. Personally I feel the psion gets shafted on power selections, it's even more limited then a sors spell selection and the psion can activate about as many powers per day as a sor can. Do the math it works...
