I don’t agree, my players and me are having a lot of fun with it, and all of them have played at least one adventure up to level 11, the adventure is still fun, and the components are all still useful

As a pretty experienced DM at this point the adventure is pretty good. It's a pretty solid update of Keep on the Borderlands, one of the original starter adventures, did you not like Keep on the Borderlands?

You don't need to do that, it's just suggested in the Caves of Chaos Book that you can alternate DM's with each cave to try learning. It's not suggested as the default, just an option you can do.

So are you just ignoring all the comments that point out that this info is incorrect, cause you just want to confirm your biases.

This argument is getting a bit silly and hyperbolic. The adventure has a pretty good amount of reading. It leaves some things vague which I think is fine personally. The Cult of Chaos doesn’t need all it’s details spelled out, beyond evil cult with bell that plans to do bad things.

Yeah it is kind of unrealistic. It’s a cool little thing but not one easy to expand on. Especially given that most higher ups as you call them probably haven’t paid any attention to the contents of the box in that regard Not because it was too soon, it’s because it didn’t happen period.

It sold out of their allotment and they got more as of today from what I recall. It for sure implies good sales even if we don’t know the exact numbers

Well no the Hobgoblins are pretty hostile, and will fight to the death anyone that gets into the cave. On regard to numbers remember the original version assumes 6-9 characters will be going through it (with hirelings to fill out lower numbered groups)

Also it appears this is selling well. WotC put out a thank you message on YouTube that Beyond has sold out it’s allotment of Starter Sets and won’t be able to start shipping orders again until the 19th.
