Well that is actually the message she was trying to give Mario, but he saw through her. She was super competent, but not perfect. She sought out help to save her Kingdom, and in the end did not save the day on her own (though she largely saved herself from Bowser).

I voted yes because even if it was something that turned out I didn't like, I'd like to see them try and I'd be pleased if someone else ended up really liking it. Now if the question was "would you want dark sun back at the expense of setting x?" That might change my answer.
