Backed. Only bummer is that it would not take the first credit card (not accepted in that country? I better not travel there) I input so I had to do another one all over again.

I don't really collect or use minis so it is out of my price range, but they do look pretty cool to me…

Thanks for the publishing history, pretty interesting stuff. It is a tough question. I love the very localized look… but it would also be good that players from different regions play with the same rules. I think at least it would be good for D&D in Japan to be available in a smaller softcover...

I was not feeling it when they previewed the characters yesterday… but glad to see they look better in-movie. I'm definitely not an encyclopedia of D&D, so I'm not that concerned about a lot of the little details. The movie looks like it could be fun, that is my concern with a movie.

At first mention it was probably no. After a few tidbits, it is most likely yes. Not 100% yet, but pretty close.

Pre-orders count? Not sure how to answer it.

I wasn't initially interested in Dungeon Delver's Guide, but the more I hear, the more interested i get. The upcoming movie, Strange World, while probably different in spirit, may provide some inspiration to players too.

That's how my real world community is. The one I live in. This kind of place is somewhere I choose to be. I see it as a community (distinct from other sites/discords/etc) I go to and sometimes participate in.
