D&D General WotC needs to bring back Boxed Sets - pic heavy

The B&G version has battle mats for every room in the castle, but unfortunately they don’t include digital versions.

D&D General Which Enworlders do you want to game with?

I have to agree with the general tone of the thread - if you're an ENworlder, I'd be happy to play a game with you - but if I had to single anyone out, I'd like to play a game with @Parmandur , @doctorbadwolf , and @Ruin Explorer , if only because between the group of us, I think we could get a...

WotC Wizard's Future Plans Has 3 Big Problems: Ft. The Professor of Tolarion Community College

I'll second that. A complete mini setting and a stealth update to Al-Qadim? Along with tons of lore and usable NPC characters? That book is awesome.

It is time to forgive WOTC and get back onboard.

I went ahead and grated my Ion stone, but it just made everything... glow-y.

D&D Movie/TV Where is all of the Honor Among Thieves D&D stuff, WotC?

A monodrone plush? Rendered to look like Tony DiTerlizzi's art!?

D&D Movie/TV Where is all of the Honor Among Thieves D&D stuff, WotC?

I mean most of us around here would, I'm sure, freaking leap at the right kind of monetization. Make a good movie with tie ins to the game! Make a t.v. show about beloved D&D properties, or even invent new ones! You're Hasbro for chrissakes, make action figures and D&D-Nerf swords and...

D&D General WotC Reveals New Information and Covers for 'Keys from the Golden Vault'

Huh, has their been? I usually catch it when it hits YouTube, but they've been silent there for a month. Edit: Hmph, there totally has been. I suppose they're shying away from venues that allow for comments.

The joke is funny, but I can picture this depressingly vividly. ;)

D&D General WotC Reveals New Information and Covers for 'Keys from the Golden Vault'

I just saw someone post it to Reddit. Like, with actually zero fanfare.

D&D General WotC Reveals New Information and Covers for 'Keys from the Golden Vault'

Due in just a few weeks, Keys from the Golden Vault has receoved little fanfare so far. However, a cover and descrioption has appeared on the Wizards Play Network site. Wizards Play Network (WPN) is a network of WotC-approved stores. An anthology of 13 heist-themed adventures for the world’s...

D&D 5E (2014) Which D&D books currently scheduled for 2023 are you interested in?

That's my thinking - a nice nod to the original boxed set, while not messing with the general art direction they have (for better or worse) gone with.

D&D 5E (2014) Which D&D books currently scheduled for 2023 are you interested in?

Were I running the project - which, sadly, I am not - I think upon reflection, I would go with “Shemeskas’ Guide to the Wheel”, “The Dark of the Planes”, and “The Great Modron March”. Rope Mr. DiTerlizzi back in for the alt covers, of course. Edit: And have something involving the Nameless One...

D&D 5E (2014) Which D&D books currently scheduled for 2023 are you interested in?

I’d personally vote for ditching the DM screen and pumping the three books to 96 pages each. I’m also not convinced we need a new MM for Planescape - Mordenkainens’ already has a bunch of info on the Blood War, as example - maybe a ‘the players chant’ / ‘the dark of the planes’ / ‘the infinite...

D&D 5E (2014) Which D&D books currently scheduled for 2023 are you interested in?

While I understand that part of the market, I suspect they would be better served by something called "The Manual of the Planes", rather than bringing the Planescape branding back for the first time since second edition.

D&D Beyond is doing a OGL 1.2 FAQ on Twitter

Amazon selling out of the Pathfinder 2e core book may have something to do with that. Someone around here also commented that’s it’s currently unavailable in Europe at the moment, as well.
