Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

These days people tend to conflate Fawkes with "V for Vendetta" and Anonymous, rather than the historical truth.

    Burger me!

My frequent Friday night dinner is a couple of supermarket Angus burgers with melted TexMex cheese on sesame rolls, with Frank's Red Hot, sliced pickle, jalapenos, , yellow mustard, and ketchup (zero sugar). If it's fast food then one of three; Baconator from Wendy's, two Classic Burgers from...

What Are You Listening To? - Reprise

I have a BluRay drive in two of my computers for the same reason. Some DVD/BluRay players can play audio disks through the TV.

My favourite is when the solution to the problem is in the error message, that they didn't bother reading.

Spoilers Hey look, there's a new Robin Hood show coming with Sean Bean as the Sheriff!

This one just has some unrealistic depictions in the artwork. The Taren Egerton was just silly, and not in a good way.

No, certainly not, which is why I specified warbow, which would be on the upper end (90# +).

Spoilers Hey look, there's a new Robin Hood show coming with Sean Bean as the Sheriff!

Lindybeige's video is a comedic take on how archery is depicted in (a particular) film, rather than being a serious study of archery.

Spoilers Hey look, there's a new Robin Hood show coming with Sean Bean as the Sheriff!

I have a flatbow and a Mongolian pattern recurve, both of which are 45# at 28". I can draw them but not comfortably, as I'm well out of shape. I'm looking at buying a 30# recurve to start building the muscles again. At my best the most that I could draw and accurately shoot was around 80#...

Spoilers Hey look, there's a new Robin Hood show coming with Sean Bean as the Sheriff!

Of course it's going to be a prop bow, but they could at least try to be otherwise accurate. The arrow is also on what would usually be the wrong side of the bow, for a right=handed shooter.* (I'm a leftie) EDIT - And sitting on... what? This screams AI. * In Western archery the arrow...

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

I wish that I got automated ones. All of the ones that call me are still using cheap fraud farms in India.

Spoilers Hey look, there's a new Robin Hood show coming with Sean Bean as the Sheriff!

What, by all that's holy, is happening in that picture? Marian is drawing Robin's bow?! Have the people who made that abomination ever actually held a bow, let alone a 100# plus pull warbow?

Spoilers Hey look, there's a new Robin Hood show coming with Sean Bean as the Sheriff!

I've seen a couple of the new season and, in a word, underwhelming.

You're absolutely right. Canada declared war against Japan before both the US and England. There were something like 2000 Canadian troops in Hong Kong when it fell.

Here's another fun fact for you, connected to that. When Pearl Harbor was attacked, Canada declared war on Japan immediately. Before the United States did. You don't screw with our friends.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

As I understand it this mainly affects DVDs from the mid-late '00s from Warner Brothers. From what I recall it takes 5-10 years, but is dependent upon storage conditions (humidity, temperature, etc.).
