(IC) Dog Days of Doom!

As the group proceeds down the hallway, someone steps on a pressure plate and bolts launch from the southern wall. Two fly wide but two others strike Havoc and Stratus. When you reach the end of the hallway, to the west is a dead end. To the East is a portcullis and a lever, with stairs seen...

    Morality of mind control…

Reminds me of Clockwork Orange. You know, some mental conditioning to curb the ultra-violence. That said, he didn’t exact pay to get that service. But it was for the protection of society. Right?….right?

(OOC) The Dog Days of Doom

@Kobold Stew sorry if there’s confusion but you already came down the stairs from area 6 (technically, area 9 but I flipped the map upside down). Anson is in the lead going towards the dark, unlit hallway towards the intersection. Also, you have no light source.

(5.24 PBP) Vault of the Dracolich (IC) Redux

Merrick approached cautiously. "I wonder if I should take the Sending Stones in case that statue starts influencing you. And then we should probably get going.... Pikki, lead the way. Maybe we can bluff our way as the new shift."

    Playground Adventure Environments

There was a time, starting in the 2000s (edit: not sure on dates) where, in an effort to increase safety, playgrounds were redesigned. Over time, playground architects realized they were made "too safe" because they were boring and limited risk and creativity...

(OOC) The Dog Days of Doom

As an FYI: I'm around all weekend. Monday was my goal for finishing so if people are around to post I will definitely be keeping my eye on things. I'm hoping, at a worse case, to be done by Friday. I go out of the country next week.

    Playground Adventure Environments

While I see where you are going, playgrounds are notorious for impeding children’s creativity. Lots of static activities that can only be interacted with in a certain way. Which is why modern playgrounds have been going through a bit of a evolution to make them more ‘creative’. Really it’s...

    (IC) Dog Days of Doom!

Beyond the door stands a small room with a lever next to another stone door, already open. Beyond that door, a set of steep stairs leads down into darkness. Anson notes that the second door has been wedged with a spike to keep it open. The door from area 2 was likewise spiked. He also...

(OOC) The Dog Days of Doom

Anson is leading the way? Who is next. Marching order is one person at a time. @Kobold Stew Make 3 Perception checks and 2 Investigation checks (because I'm assuming you're moving with care)

    (IC) Dog Days of Doom!

The zombie is tough but it's slow and gets battered with attack after attack and, with a final psychic blast, it falls to the ground unmoving. All is quiet. Where to next. The only place you have yet to explore is down the newly opened passage.

    Morality of mind control…

Nothing takes away a person’s free will like murdering them. If the stakes are so high that you are going to be murdered or are considering murdering someone, then I don’t see mind control as any worse. Obviously, framing the ‘stakes’ will inform me if someone is doing evil acts. Are you...

US Tariffs: $80-$200 Surcharge On All Packages Regardless of Price

I heard the other day that if companies could become CUSMA compliant, they can avoid the fees. Doing so is difficult and takes time. Also, if any parts of your product are not CUSMA(if they come from other non CUSMA countries), then you can’t apply.

In a fantasy world filled with magic and miraculous beings, will the religious concepts of the locals be completely different from the human of Earth?

I quoted the post where you called people’s real life religious beliefs just “imagination” and compare them to Lady Gaga. But go ahead, I will happily leave.

I was commenting on the fact that he has a code and kills bad guys. Which is very paladin-like. I’ve seen many paladins in games have less excuses than a code to slaughter enemies

I’m pretty sure that criticizing and being condescending about people’s religious beliefs is going to get this thread shut down
