It's funny, we moved to 3.5 from 3e almost immediately, it was just seen as a flat-out improvement by our gaming groups. Not the same with 5e24! BUT it's also, what, 20 years later? So we're definitely different players/consumers/DMs as well- hard to tell.

I was wondering about this- what're the primary differences between 14 and 24, if you discount character options like classes, feats, and origins, as well as spells? What states "I'm playing 5e14" vs "I'm playing 5e24" if not those character options and spells? 5e24 has different stealth...

Primarily A5E, so I voted 5e14. Also some occasional OSE.

I never heard of Vast Grimm, though I've heard of or played a few other Borg offshoots. What's Vast Grimm's deal?

I knew dragonborn weren't "native" because I was around when they first became a thing in 3e, but I didn't know orcs were from another world in FR.

I think 5.5 and TotV check off different boxes- or at least, they check off the boxes in different ways.. I think TotV does it better (see: TotV's Weapon Options vs. 5.5e's Weapon Masteries, or TotV's spell changes vs. 5.5e's). So if someone liked 5.5's way of doing things, they might not...
