The problem is that our buying habits reinforce the opposite of what we are discussing. We buy sequels/prequels/spin-offs better than we buy new IPs.

I think what we all know, but Hollywood doesn't seem to is that any property can be successful if the people involved understand it and take the proper approach with the quality of the product. Sadly, quantity seems to be what makes money for Hollywood.

Depends on the session at our table. Some sessions are 0% combat and some are 90%, but we try to make sure that we laugh 100% of the time.

This is fantastic, I saw Encanto the first time when had my 8 year old's birthday party at the movie theater in mid-december and I just fell in love with it even faster than Moana or Hamilton.

I didn't know that about orcs and "goblins" thanks for the education. I don't like the term "goblinoids" but whatever. Making them the "victims" of the multiverse feels problematic to me. I'll just change what I need to in my games.
