    D&D 5E (2014) Open Source dilemmas...(AKA Creature Catalog/Tome of Beasts/Tome of Horrors etc.)

I'm about to use a color out of space from that Peterson book in my 5e game. It is going to scare the bejeezus out of the PCs. The color is going to literally melt an ogre in front of their eyes when they get to the top level of this tower. What they do from there, I imagine is either fleeing...

Official News Level Up & Electronic Tools

I use Roll20 and am quite happy with it, but I would also like to switch eventually to Foundry. Whenever we finish my current campaign by the end of the year or beginning of next, I would like to have a full Level Up/Foundry reboot.

    D&D 5E (2014) Get A $25/Hr Job Running D&D (If you have a degree)

No, but teachers don't get paid for grading papers either :) Besides, I would just rehash stuff I already have

    D&D 5E (2014) Get A $25/Hr Job Running D&D (If you have a degree)

Heck, I will apply. $50 to run a two hour session with kids in the platform I use every week anyway! Yes please.

Official News A Quick Look At Skills

Not detailed enough. I wouldn't even mind at all if it was divorced from the d20 and relegated to a percentile system, but that will never happen. It would be neat to have more granular advancement, and critical successes and failures built in.

Official News A Quick Look At Skills

I would also prefer this. I am not a fan of the entire 5e skill system personally, and would prefer it gutted and revamped somehow, but that's more of a 6e thing, not what I'd expect from LU.

Level Up (A5E) Monster preview thread!

For interesting variants, I have found the Monster Manual Expanded trilogy of books quite indispensable. It's what I would have expected from WotC, but 3pp came through in spades.

Level Up (A5E) Monster preview thread!

I noticed the hell hound has its lawful evil alignment buried down in the statblock area.

D&D 5E (2014) Creature Features: Resistances, Vulnerabilities, and Bloodied Condition for all Creatures

Great idea. That's the kind of thing that would fit nicely into core D&D (or Level Up). And I agree, removing Bloodied from 5e wasn't the best idea; I did like how it changed combat with monsters.

    D&D 5E (2014) 5e - Tales of the Old Margreve (Roll20) Campaign Recaps

It's a location from a short module, but I didn't like the map, so I recreated it and added my own stuff. Some stuff is the same, like the slave pen and food kiosks, but a good bit I embellished on. One player said it was the highlight of the whole adventure, and they didn't do anything but...

D&D 5E (2014) How the crap do you explain the rogue's Evasion ability?

Or, maybe this just a game and it doesn't matter if it's realistic. I'm going with that.

D&D 5E (2014) How the crap do you explain the rogue's Evasion ability?

Oh it filled the corridor. The DM was quite clear. There was nowhere to hide except fall flat. Which, apparently, is enough to dodge napalm. I would have been absolutely fine with him ruling it as an autofail save. It made no sense to escape unscathed.
