Yes! The only novella I've read is "The Furthest Station" (only one my library has on shelf) and I haven't read the comics (although I've religiously crossed-referenced information on the TVTropes page). As a result, one reference to a haunted BMW seemed like a cute call-back, but plot points...

I discovered this late last year and have torn through the series in the last few months. I'm due to check out Amongst Our Weapons (book 9) this weekend from the local library. I found it fun, immensely readable, and the voice and some of the "misses" in the language improve as it goes on...

Here's my big one: The Lego X D&D crossover SHOULD be everything to me, but I just can't pull the trigger on it (and believe me, impulse buys are NOT the issue). The build, the aesthetics, the minifigures themselves...everything just seems varying degrees of "Off." I had enough LEGO VIP points...

LOL. Can't argue with that! In the meantime, you could try to pick up Masters of the Universe: Battleground (Masters of the Universe: Battleground) and paint He-Man as Northlord! :) (And in my defense of NOT spending money, I DID just pick up the Beholder and Displacer Beast actions...

And, don't forget, he was way back in the "War Drums" set too! :) (I keep going back and forth on if I want the "League of Malevolence" set. It's nifty, but none of them fill a needed niche in my minis library other than nostalgic recognition.)

Like @Velderan, I can also vouch that it works. I used the scan-the-QR-code trick to find the Noir Detective in the most recent series of Collectible Mini-figures. But, it was TEDIOUS. Some of the QR codes did not print very dark, and there's a lot of tipping and turning to get the camera to...

Hunters Mark should be a class ability. Yes, I know there are reasons why it's not, but frankly all of them ring hollow to me.

I played Scales of War all the way through, and I did buy the PH/DMG/MM, but I'll admit, that's only because I found them at Border's Books (before they went under) in a slipcase for 40% off with coupon. I'm pretty sure the rest of my party just used Insider.

Back in the day I was all about Kaz and Dragonlance Minotuars, especially the League. I will be buying this in a heartbeat.
