Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.2 Is Officially Live

I guess anything is possible, but I have my doubts WotC determined that the Bastion rules were the secret sauce driving DMG sales

    D&D 5E (2024) Specifying 5e

I've been using 5.14 and 5.24 but I'd be fine with shortening it to 5.1 and 5.2 if that became the common convention. I assume in around a decade we'll get either 5.3(4?) or 6e.

Dungeons & Dragons SRD 5.2 Is Officially Live

Got a chance to look it over. Glad to see the omission of Forest Gnomes (and Wood and Drow Elves) was remedied.

What Show Should Have Only Had One Season?

I lost interest sometime after it became clear they were shifting from Bart to Homer as the main character.

    OGL, ORC, CC or?...

That was the d20 System Trademark Licence.

D&D General History of Planar Development in AD&D: 1977-1980

This also marked the introduction of the plane of Concordant Opposition, which later became the Outlands.

What Show Should Have Only Had One Season?

The last episode of Star Trek Enterprise comes pretty darn close.

What Show Should Have Only Had One Season?

Until the third season dropped twenty odd years later, I would have said Twin Peaks.

RPG Archive: Star*Drive for D&D and Traveller

Yeah, years ago I had the notion of trying to retro-clone Alternity and came up with some alternate names for the species, IIRC... Grey (Fraal) Atavus (Weren/Sasquatch) Saurian (T'sa/Kinori) Cybrid (Aleerin/Mechalus/Sandman) Xenobug (Sesheyan/Mothman)

D&D 5E (2024) WotC Announces April 22 Release For 2024 System Reference Documents

The most notable bit of "orphaned" OGC is the classic monsters from Necromancer Games' Tome of Horrors that were part of a gentleman's agreement between Clark Peterson and Wizards.

RPG Archive: Star*Drive for D&D and Traveller

Yeah, it was structured like D&D. A player's book, a GM's book (with a brief "monster" section), and campaign settings.

RPG Archive: Star*Drive for D&D and Traveller

A while back I posted about using the Alternity species in LevelUp's Voidrunners Codex, using the Weren as a proof of concept... https://www.enworld.org/threads/kitbashing-voidrunner-heritages-into-alternity-species.706609/

    D&D General DALL·E 3 does amazing D&D art

Neat little thing I discovered playing with chatgpt.. stylistic comparisons.

Dragon Delves to Return to Godsbreath, a Journey Through the Radiant Citadel Setting

Glad to see them revisiting a Radiant Citadel setting. I'd like to see a product that covered the Three Dragon Siblings settings; Yongjing, Yeonido, and Umizu.

    D&D 5E (2024) Species/Racial/Cultural Subclasses

Another good one was the Gnomish Professor "demi-bard" kit. It was sort of part Illusionist, part Artificer, and part Warlord.

Best superhero movie of all time? (Nominations thread)

I just find it more poignant. The murder of Rorschach comes at the culmination of Manhattan's acceptance of the role of monster in Adrian's "noble lie".

Best superhero movie of all time? (Nominations thread)

Adrian's plan in the movie makes more sense than the one Moore swiped from an episode of The Outer Limits.
