What Lost, Abandoned or Short Lived TTRPG would you like to see get a re-issue and new support?

I do like the solution in TORG Eternity better, though you couldn't really transplant it as is without taking the whole system. In TORG Eternity, for one, Toughness isn't a stand-alone stat. It's Strength plus armor (there may be perks that affect it separately, but it's not a separate stat)...

Paizo Ends Pathfinder Adventure Path Softcovers, Switching to Quarterly Model

Kr or Krona is the currency here in Sweden. So the man in question said he wasn't affected by rising gas prices because he always bought 200 kr of gasoline at a time, while being seemingly blissfully ignorant that those 200 kr would buy a smaller amount of gasoline each time as the price went up.

Paizo Ends Pathfinder Adventure Path Softcovers, Switching to Quarterly Model

Reminds me of one of those "ask the man on the street" things in a newspaper back in the day, where the paper had asked people what they thought of the recent increases in gas prices (this was back in the early 90s, IIRC). One of the respondents had answered "It doesn't affect me because I...

GURPS Fantasy / Dungeon Fantasy (and beyond)

Beam Weapons was definitely distinct from Guns, and I think Gunner was as well. But in general, I think 4e has more atomized skills, with 3e leaning more on optional specialization (which was much more generous: +5 within specialty in exchange for -1 outside it, with 4e essentially being +1/-1...

What Lost, Abandoned or Short Lived TTRPG would you like to see get a re-issue and new support?

Others have already mentioned using 2d10 instead of 1d20 in Masterbook. Some other changes are, off the top of my head: Dexterity split into Dexterity (hand-eye coordination) and Agility (full-body coordination). I think Spirit might have been renamed as well but I could be misremembering...

GURPS Fantasy / Dungeon Fantasy (and beyond)

If I was remaking GURPS and keeping more-or-less the same structure, I'd start by combining a lot of skills. For one thing, any skill that's almost always used alongside another skill should just be the same skill – e.g. Electronics Operation (Medical) should just be part of rolls for Physician...

GURPS Fantasy / Dungeon Fantasy (and beyond)

GURPS has separate skills for Artillery, Beam Weapons, Guns, Gunner, and Liquid Projector (flame throwers, sprayers, and such), with numerous mandatory specialties within each of these skills (e.g. Guns (Pistol), Guns (Rifle), Guns (SMG), and Guns (Shotgun) are all separate skills defaulting to...

Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

Back in 2e (I think this was as early as Dragon Kings, but I could be misremembering and can't be hedgehogged to check), the notion was that at some point some kind of weird beings had created some kind of metaphysical connection between the elemental planes and the sorcerer-monarchs which was...

GURPS Fantasy / Dungeon Fantasy (and beyond)

I don't know if I'd call it "unmatched". There are lots of universal games these days. Chief among them is probably Savage Worlds, but you also have FATE for those who like their rules light, Cypher System for those who like it light in another way, or Genesys for those who like funky dice...

What Lost, Abandoned or Short Lived TTRPG would you like to see get a re-issue and new support?

I know that back in the 80s, there was a Swedish translation of Chill plus a few adventures and a sourcebook, called Chock. Recently, a new version of Chock using the same logo was released over here. As I was never a big fan of the original, I haven't kept up with info on it so I don't know if...

US Tariffs: $80-$200 Surcharge On All Packages Regardless of Price

MCDM mentioned that they're printing Draw Steel both in the US and Italy. They didn't specify why, but I assume it's a tariff thing.

Pathfinder 2E I played my first PF2e game this week. Here's why I'm less inclined to play again.

The issues with PF1 were much the same as the ones with 3.5e, so it makes sense that the solutions would have similarities in common but not be identical.

Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

One of the things I always thought was weird about Dark Sun is how it's a desert setting named after the merciless sun beating down, and yet pretty much everyone looks very WASPy, with maybe a tan if they're lucky. The survival adaptions that lead to everyone having higher stats apparently...

US Tariffs: $80-$200 Surcharge On All Packages Regardless of Price

But Mexico isn't part of the TIR convention, so it does not apply to goods going from Canada to Mexico. In North America, only Canada and the USA are signatories, which means the only use of it I can see is for goods traveling from Alaska to the lower 48 or vice versa.

Dungeons & Dragons Releases New Unearthed Arcana Subclasses, Strongly Hinting at Dark Sun

TSR couldn't even keep lore straight within a single novel pentalogy. In The Verdant Passage we definitely see the halfling Nok and his assistants use preserving magic – it's presented as drawing power from nearby plants and all. We also see Nok go after Sadira in The Amber Enchantress, again...
