Daggerheart "Description on Demand" a GM DON'T

I'm late to this party, but I think that there is a pretty easy solution for this problem: As the GM, ask the player if they'd like to do the description, and if they don't, do it yourself, or ask if anyone else wants to do it.

(5.24 PBP) Vault Redux (OOC) Fitz's Refresher

I often read the OOC thread before I read the IC thread, and read stuff (like I did above) without context. Though I have fun guessing. At any rate, I think that the DC of Intimidation, on an "already described as nervous" guy, by striding into his torchlight with a (well-known to these guys)...

    Sounds about right to me.

(5.24 PBP) Vault of the Dracolich (IC) Redux

Team Caves The mercenaries were used to strange sounds that echoed up from the caves. Previously Ironbark would occasionally rage, or at other times remain totally silent and still for weeks at a time. But today, the sounds that the guard at the top of the ridge had listened to, before he...

    D&D 5E (2024) Heroes of the Borderlands

I don't remember if my 40-hour thinking on it comes from them, or from playing it multiple times. It seems like the Keep includes a lot of shops. Honestly, if they time it with a lot of sotcial interaction, it will take longer than a cut-to-the-chase game. (I'm not saying that Phandelver was...

    D&D 5E (2024) Heroes of the Borderlands

They say it estimates at 60 hours of play. To me, thar seems longer than Phandelver, which I have always thought of as about 40 hours. But I'm not sure how they're judged.

When are you allowed to switch up equipment? Like, does it take your "Action"?

(5.24 PBP) Vault Redux (OOC) Fitz's Refresher

Team Lake - A few more notes: If you want to proceed in Kayaks, Bjorn can lead you. I'll keep it quick so we don't waste time - we will use a single roll. Bjorn can't give EVERYONE Advantage, but he can give whoever is in the front seat of the first kayak advantage. AND he can have Bill do the...

(5.24 PBP) Vault of the Dracolich (IC) Redux

Yes, if you want to proceed in the Kayaks, Bjorn can lead the way, swimming at the surface. It will be difficult for him to communicate too many warnings, though, and if a certain failure occurs, there's the possibility of them "running him over", but it's not like anything is safe when you're...

(5.24 PBP) Vault of the Dracolich (IC) Redux

Team Lake With the Hydra apparently not chasing, Guldred waved to them from above, trying to get the group to follow him down a narrow tunnel, somewhat like the one that they had travelled down to arrive in the lake, a twisting tunnel of water with rock walls. The main difference was that this...

Team Caves As the others made ready to ascend the steep slope to the dig-site, Shamal had decided that he could not leave the old Treant to his fate, not for a moment longer. He danced, beseeching Rabb al-Wahah to intervene. As he danced, a hot wind blew through the chamber. At first, Shamal...

Wizards Play Network. I can't stand how it works, but sometimes I get some promo stuff, and I usually get the books early. We jump through a lot of hoops to qualify.

    D&D 5E (2024) Heroes of the Borderlands

So I am now told. I believe that there never was, but that it took a LONG time for that information to "trickle down". I have been asking for six weeks, and I have been constantly told, "Yes! There is Early Access!" The reason I kept asking is because I was getting conflicting answers from some...
