I look forward to DS. I think it offers something different, truly, than their other settings. I really hope they lean hard into trying to save the environment as one theme, not just survival (ducks).

that last part is 100% correct. so very correct. Just awful. Truly. (and, there are so many issues with the add on, no, it should not have been on its own either).

I just hope when it comes out, we can have actual conversations about what it is, not why it isn't exactly like the old version (with endless comments going nowhere).

Unlikely, but possible. But generally when costs go up, prices go up.

I'm not in love with the art.....and sure, some adventures aren't as good as others, but that is to be expected given how many there are. We will disagree, no skin off my nose. All I'm saying is that it is worth more than it costs, that's what actually matters I'd think.

I mean, I own some company's stuff, and I'm not sure it is any better at all. And, those don't come with a setting book included. I don't LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this, but I don't get how any DM won't find it more than worth the price in actual usefulness compared to so many other books out there.

Of course....companies need to be aware of this. I'm not the company, though.

It's 23 minutes long. It better be longer. I also disagree. There's a lot of good stuff here. And I don't need more OSR stuff, as he says.

Strong disagree. These are very easy to use and different from each other.

This is one of the best DM facing books ever. Just packed full of usefulness. Worth every penny.

This issue was overall kind of boring for me at the time. Other than the ecology article, which was great.

Yikes. Didn't know about this until you posted. Also, I never loved the books as much as everyone. I liked them.

The adventure book is truly great. So much actually usable content. The player book largely suffers from the way subclasses are used in 5e. Just meh. Outside the subclasses, there a lot of good stuff. But I'm just not in love with a lot of it.

The DM book is soooooo much better than the player one.

I can totally see them doing the same thing with dark sun they just did with the realms. I hope so! Though I'd love more monster next time ...
