No comparison, really. It's like comparing MtG to Spellfire, another "great" TSR game. :) Marvel Dice Masters was released to a lot of fanfare last year. They expanded the licenses to both DC and D&D since then. Pretty popular game, I don't see it going away any time soon.

I played Dice Masters for the first time this weekend (Justice League booster draft). Fun game. Not sure I'm into a collectable game, but if you are, it's a good one.
