D&D General The blood war can finally end!

Could you elaborate on this. I am not sure what the 4e Approach was that changed the Blood War for you?

Lots of them had the trait Magic Weapon.

D&D General The blood war can finally end!

The justification for how it started is that the Devils attacked the Demons who had been attacking everyone, the Demons attacked back and have kept going at the Devils ever since out of momentum. Most demons engage in the blood war cause that's where the fighting is.

D&D General The blood war can finally end!

Cause they don't like them very much, and it's an acceptable target. Most of the Demons are not stupid and they enjoy rampaging on creatures different to them more than other demons.

D&D General The blood war can finally end!

The Demon Lords are more focused on the Abyss for the most part. It’s the tons of other demons that focus on the Blood War and attacking the Nine Hells.

D&D General The blood war can finally end!

Reminds me of a 3e adventure where Graz’zt and Lolth came up with a scheme to end the Blood War. Inviting representatives of various Demon Lords to the Demon Web to sign a pact (under either Lolth’s or Graz’zt name they were both competing and sabotaging each other to claim credit) the pact was...

D&D General The blood war can finally end!

The Celestial Hosts explicitly don’t try and help either side cause they hate them both with a few exceptions who generally go after both sides. It’s better to let evil eat itself. The Devils are outnumbered by the Demons, but they have better tactics and organization while the Demons are wild...

    D&D 5E (2024) Monster Manual errors

They won’t split again if they get split because of becoming bloodied. Cause the new puddings would be bloodied by default and not have a chance to become bloodied. At least by my reading.

    D&D 5E (2024) Dragon Delves Cover Revealed

Those are largely the same minor nitpicks I don’t care about. I don’t really find the Eve of Ruin stuff negatives. I will find out with time if it’s too easy. (Though I really don’t agree that Vecna himself is too easy)

    D&D 5E (2024) Dragon Delves Cover Revealed

I am the DM. And I just don't agree. Probably because I just don't care about the little nitpicks you are making on the threads. Why do you hate Eve of Ruin?

    D&D 5E (2024) Dragon Delves Cover Revealed

I don't agree, I have liked both Shattered Obelisk and Eve of Ruin so far. Though we are pretty early into Eve of Ruin.

D&D General Why grognards still matter

A grognard is a grumbler. A member of the guard who grumbles about change.

D&D 5E (2024) Is anyone at WOTC paying attention to what they print any more?

The carrion crawler has changed to Con save

D&D General The blood war can finally end!

The Blood War assumed their various attacks would be more effective on each other. Also the various Demons and Devils still have resistance to lots of damage types just not BPS anymore as a whole, it means they will generally be more effective against magic users and less so against powerful...

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Monster Manual (2025)

I got it right away, basically the ooze will always split if becomes bloodied, but will also split if slashed or zapped.

Many Arrows still exists but has retreated more to the mountains.

It’s intelligent but also evil. So I guess they didn’t feel Celestial worked.
